The Herminator offered a new contract

Admin Andy 'says', not that what is said always happens, The Herminator has been offered a new 1-year contract - his decision will be made during a holiday.

Joel Ward and Marlon Pack are also being offered new contracts with it 'hoped' that David James and Rocha John Rocha will also stay.

It appears that everyone else, that is out of contract, is going - although this will be confirmed later this week, or early next week. One of those that is definitely being released though is Angelos Basinas, he will return to Greece.

Admin Andy says that half a dozen would have gone regardless of our position...

I think that The Herminator will be a fantastic person to have around, although proving his fitness is something that needs to be done first, surely.

Pack and Ward are players that I would certainly be happy to see us keep as I would Rocha John Rocha if a deal can be agreed - James goes without saying!

Lenny Sowah is also 'said' to be receiving an 'improved contract' in an effort to ward of interest from others - Uncle Avram 'could' show an interest in him, and other players though, should he be confirmed as the new West Ham manager so moving fast is probably something we need to do.

The News also 'claims' that the coaching team are the ones deciding who they would like to retain, and not Uncle Avram, which virtually - if true - assures that he will not be here next season, right?

When Avram goes, lets have Hermann and Jamo as a player/manager partnership. You don't get more inspirational than those two. Unlike Mr Charisma Adams, this could actually work.

give it to groves

Not surprised Basinas is off, it might be worth giving Groves a go but if We have a new owner/ existing owner gets interested in owning the club I would guess it will be someone with a bit of experience like Dave Jones or similar.
