Talk about front, this guy has more front than Kelly Brook! I could not believe my eyes, or my ears, when I saw and heard Peter Storrie 'pipe up' on the eve of the FA cup final.
It was bad enough that the 'consultant', who I suspect is still on 'full pay', was going to the cup final let alone travelling with the squad and wearing the cup final suit, but it was even worse hearing him say that he 'could still be here next season!'
What happened to the CEO we appointed?!
That angered me, and big time, but it was for another time - the weekend was about the FA cup, the club and the fans...
Now that the dust has settled on our cup defeat and our season in general when we brush this aside we see a realisation that a leech that cannot be shifted might continue to bleed us dry!
I have little time for the guy but I think I would have 'some' respect for him if he held his hands up and admitted that he needed to take some responsibility for what has happened with us but his constant refusing to so this is shocking - this was something that he again did on Friday. Asked if he felt he owed the fans or businesses an apology he rolled out the 'I am a club employee' line and again refused.
I am sick and tired of the guy and do not want to tread over old ground again but the simple facts are as the chief exec you ARE responsible for so much, his story has changed so much over the months - if you knew the score, as he sometimes claims (before this changes) then it was his duty to do something about it. If he did not, with it not taking a genius to work out things were not right, he should have.
Incompetent, at best - that is what he has been either way!
He has basically been responsible for money that had 'come in' and 'gone out', he has not been doing this very well. That said the fact that a chief exec has been on a 'win bonus' - what the hell is that all about! - just shows what the guy is all about really...money!
Clearly the guy has no issue 'bending the truth' he has 'no shame', 'pride' or 'dignity' but if he wants to salvage any part of his 'honour' he will finally, once and for all, bow out graciously - sadly this is not his style is it.
I must be one of those fans who is not a 'genuine Pompey fan' because I know for a fact that I want the Storrieteller OUT! Those that want this are not 'real fans' according to him.
Storrie, and I assume you will get wind of this, you said if the fans wanted you to leave then you would - you have already proven that this is not something you will do, but I think I can safely say that I DO speak for everyone when I say:
WE DO NOT WANT YOU - LEAVE OUR CLUB ALONE, AND LEAVE IT NOW!!!
Admin Andy the season is now done, we DO NOT need 'a consultant' anymore so get the guy his coat and give him the boot! The club, well you, are willing enough to do this to players - something a football club DOES NEED, of course at the right price - do this with a parasite that we do not need, or want.
