Peter Storrie Chats to Vital Pompey

Vital Pompey spoke exclusively to Peter Storrie about the rumoured “big name club” playing at Pompey pre-season.

Vital Pompey asked, “Will we see a big named club playing Portsmouth pre-season at Fratton Park?

Peter Storrie- “Not this pre-season as we have seeded the pitch rather than slabing.”

Vital Pompey, “What is the advantage of doing this?”

Peter Storrie- “The seeding process takes longer to knit it but is much stronger for the whole season.”

Vital Pompey, “This will come as disappointing news to Pompey fans as we have become accustomed to a big game before the season had begun. Is anything else being done instead?

Peter Storrie- “Yes, we are waiting for confirmation on a tournament abroad at this moment.”

Thats sounds exciting, fancy a trip abroad to watch pompey

Abroad will do me. And i 4-1 am not the least bit disappointed at not playing a big team. It's usually the last game before the season starts, it's not competitive cos no one wants to get injured and last but not least..... we usually lose.

A Broad would do me too...a big busty blonde one. On the serious note Pompey could play the Greek National team or for that matter any other Nation not taking part in FIFA 2006 in Krautland.

Highland Colts and Jubille 77 in a 'round-robin'. I will believe it all when I see it...ie ground, players and seeded pitch!!!! Did Vital Pompey notice Peter 'Tell Us A' Story's nose growing during interview? How about an interview with the catering company to see if they can supply enough hot water for more than 25 cups of tea at half time (south stand D)? Or interview a plumbing company to see if the troughs can be unblocked in toilets (same section). Seriously, we are all being strung along again to boost season ticket sales, one false promise too many for me is an exciting European tournament!!!

You'll have some nice grass as well, play the Greeks, they just lost to Australia, so they are ripe for a flogging. I have just interviewed a tree next door, says its growing leaves.

I think it's the Ajax tournamnet, I heard Juve & Barcelona will make up the others. Pompey are offered £1m to turn up. Isn't taht right Peter!!!

Looking forrward to the pre-season AFCB v Pompey game at Dean Court. If the atmos is half as good as last seasons game it will be terrific
tis_red
i might go to that

...did someone mention Australia beating Greece??? Get on board Punters at a succulent 100/1 to beat Brazil in the WC Final!!!
Morsch is Hot!!
Who the Aussies. They will be on the first plane back after the group stage. Brazil and Croatia are much better.
