'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Michael Brown's baby arrives.

Michael Brown's dream has come true and he will now be available for the Cup Final on Saturday.

His wife was due to give birth on 15th May but the new arrival came a week early as Brown was called away from the team hotel and therefore he missed the season`s final league game at Everton.

Last week Michael had told the press 'Hopefully, I won't have to (miss the final) - but babies aren't always born exactly on time as predicted, are they? We'll just have to wait and see but the missus will just have to be quick - or a little slow. Seriously, though, we are both looking forward to it and we've known for some time about the due date.'

Congratulations to all involved and to our many women readers I apologise that I do not know the sex, name or weight.

With all the injuries in the squad Brown being available is a major boost.

Bet he had his wife trying everything to make sure he didn't miss the final. Curry, raspberry leaf tea etc. Congrats to the Browns.

Congratulations to the lad, hope he stays next season.

Congratulations to them. What better present could there be for a new baby than a FA Cup winners medal? I hope that MB manages to get some sleep before Saturday, as he might not after.

Hey congrats to the Browns. A very important week for them. Micheal a nice big cigar and winners medal around your neck will make this the best week in your life.

Got this via a contact in the club. Surprised the club themselves have not published the news!! Top story on Newsnow too.

With the injuries to the side the baby has been told to bring his bootees to Wembley and he could get a game. Congratulations to the Terrier and heart beat of the side.

No doubt kicking & screaming, quick head butt to the mid wife! Only joking, congrats to all.
