At least the last 2 home games, can't be sure about 1983. The draw with Norwich sticks out. Desperate to stay up in our first season in the top flight. A must win game against a side also struggling. We concede a very penalty to draw. We went down & they stayed up! Happy St. George's Day to anyone proud to be English!!!

Quite a few games leading to promotion and relegation.

1962 clinched promotion after the 'fixed game with Peterborough on the Saturday

1983 a convincing win that left us on the cusp of Division Three title again!!

1988 our last point before relegation.

Right back in 1949 Pompep clich league title. A great day St George's Day.

And all except Harry Harris and Jimmy Campbell of the goalscorers were English including three Internationals!!
