Creditors report

So, the 'report to the creditors' is now out.

This has uncovered, well not a lot new really although it does show - as pointed out on FansOnline already as I am sure most would have seen - that amazingly we paid Spurs a 'sell on fee' of £1m for Asmir Begovic after his 'on-off' move eventually saw him join Stoke at the last.

It also shows that Sol Campbell is/was not the only one getting 'image rights'.

8 others, Dave Nugent, Niko Kranjcar, John Utaka, Kanu, Tal Ben-Haim, Lassana Diarra, Lauren and Sulley Muntari were/are receiving this privilege too.

£38.2m are listed as 'unsecured loans' including SAF's £5m and some £2.5m from A Gaydamak, I assume this is Sacha, Alexandre, as opposed to his old man Arcadi...

This report is downloadable in Adobe Reader PDF format below.

We owe for Beggo? No wonder we are broke, we owe for a player who came through the ranks and never played for Spurs, unbelievable

Here is an Article if someone wants to dig deep and write it, so we get it highlighted via news now.... Azougy on Sky says he done the deal for bego with jacob. the PL said he was NOT allowed to do any deals, so surely the FA should be investigating PL for allowing this? and its a possible get out clause Pompey can use, as Azougy was not in the possition to do the deal???

I'm finding the 1mill for Begovic quite shocking. this happened when we were already deep in the kack and trying to sort our way out of it - or so we thought. It seems, as Midge says, that Azougy did the deal, although was not sanctioned by the PL to do deals like it. He agreed with Spurs that they would take Kaboul and Begovic in a combined deal, and somehow agreed that if Bego didn't go and signed for someone else instead that month (january) we would owe 1mill. then - KNOWING THIS FFS! they allowed Bego to sign for Stoke in January. Its also 'interesting' if Jacob, a Spurs fan, was involved in doing this deal. The word mismanagement is not sufficient to cover it, and I think theres an awful lot thats way more sinister than that.
