Just the 2 home games with Brighton in 1990 & 91. Easter games of course. Happy Birthday Mr De Zeeuw, awesome player.

Brighton and a great trip to Boro. Flew up with some string& bag airline to what was teeside airport, Boro itself was a bit of a wasteland but the Nth Yorks and Durham area surrounding are really beautifull; well worth the trip.

Rotherham in 1977 I remember like yesterday - well it is only 33 years ago. Pompey had scored only one goal in four and manager Ian St John threw teenage midfielder Peter Denyer up front against the table topping Millers. The result goals galore and a thumping win. Didnt save Saint his job - sacked three weeks later.

Done Deal - Smith in permanently from Swindon

The interest Pompey retained in Smith, with him 'in our sights' has resulted in him returning to the Blues on a permanent basis after signing for an 'undisclosed fee' from Swindon.

Cushioning the blow

Much, that needed saying, about Webster's exit for Ipswich and the arrival of Clarke in return (and cash) has been said hasn't it? Doyle's been spot on with what he said.

Swindon striker in 'Pompey's sights'

Michel Smith, who was of course on loan last season, could return? He's still in 'Pompey's sights' by all accounts after Swindon informed him he's 'surplus to requirements' now.
