'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Harry's 3 Defensive Targets

Sam Stapleton and Vlada Filipovic, have confirmed Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is an admirer.

'Portsmouth and other Premiership clubs are in for Mate,' his representatives told Skysports.com.

'There was a lot of interest last season after Mate played against Manchester United but Debrecen didn't want to sell.

'After some excellent performances for Hungary's Under-21s and in the championship, Debrecen have now conceded that one of the best central defenders in Hungary will be on their way.

'The most likely destination is The Premiership.'

Vital Pompey has reason to believe that Mate was identified as the number one defensive target. I will gather information on the player a.s.a.p.

The second target is thought to have been watched by Harry the other week.

With a third target the possible loan signing of Chelsea player Robert Huth! The rumours doing the rounds are that Portsmouth and Chelsea officials will meet next week to discus a possible loan deal.

When I asked Peter Storrie about the possibility he replied, “We do not give out information on who we are going for.” Which is fair enough.
