All the defeats following the Reading loss- just call me lucky. There was a lot of violence in and around Reading, not a nice place to be. LoL Until I went I had thought Reading was a posh place

4 for me. Starting with home loss to Birmingham in 1985. They went up & we finished 4th & didn't. No play-offs then. Jim Smith was their manager at the time. Then the heartbreak of losing to Liverpool in the 1992 Semi replay on penalties. Thankfully we have dealt with that ghost a few times now. Home defeats to Ipswich & Watford followed. Not a good day for us.

I can't believe Villa Park was 18 years ago.. Living in Brum at the time and managed to get aticket.. so proud of the lads but so much angst when we lost -should have won.. Was supposed to go to (former )girlfirends parents that night but no chance.. was single again pretty soon after that :)

Five for me. 1974 to 85 and the 92 Semi replay. Least I saw two wins!! Villa Park my feet never touched the floor and I am a big bloke. Talking to a mate on Sunday about it and he spent the whole game hanging from a pillar.

Sheffield United loanee open to Pompey return

McNulty would welcome a permanent transfer to Pompey. Although the Sheffield United striker could well be part of new manager Wilder's plans, so the chances seem 50:50 at best?

ST prices frozen...buying into future ambition?

That is the aim, and hope, at least as far as Catlin is concerned. Pompey's decision to freeze season ticket prices should result in a good take up once again. Shouldn't it?
