Saturday's cup ticket general sale - UPDATE!

The club have realised that offering up semi final tickets for Saturday morning's 'general sale' release on an almost complete 'free for all' and 'no holds bared' status was not quite the right thing to do...

For starters we 'might' have seen people that 'legally' should not have been getting tickets getting them, there was also the chance that Spurs fans could have looked to get some?

All in all though not much has changed and it 'should not' really cause much of a problem.

So, an IMPORTANT update has today been issued on The Pompey Site.

See below for more info...

Important Semi Final Ticket Update

Following the club's earlier announcement regarding the further sale of tickets for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham at Wembley, please note the following important information.

In order to maintain the integrity of crowd separation arrangements at Wembley, it has been requested that anyone buying tickets for the semi-final at Wembley on Sunday between Pompey and Spurs must have already been registered on the Portsmouth Football Club ticket database before 9am on April 7 2010.

A total of 2,000 tickets will go on sale from the club's Rodney Road ticket office between 9am-1pm on Saturday. Only cash will be accepted.

Supporters can purchase two seats per booking and, as stated above, must have been registered on the club's database before April 7 2010.

All the remaining tickets cost £30 for adults and £20 for over 60s/under 17s.

Seats will be sold on a first come, first served basis and there will be a £3 booking fee per booking (due to the ticket office opening outside of normal office hours).

Please note that there will be four ticket office windows open. The ticket office will not be taking any phone calls and Ticketmaster lines/website will be closed.

@Chix "Anyway.. no excuses now if anybody wants to go they can." That assumes that the ticket you ordered and paid for 16 days ago arrives before it's time to set off for Wembley. Mine hasn't. Is anybody else still waiting?

I wonder how many people are down there queuing up . . any Vital members there, let us know how you get on. I had to pay £3 per TICKET by the way, plus £5 per boooking postage. Erithacus . . get onto the club, pronto, your tickets should have arrived ages ago!
tracyc
erithacus - mine haven't arrived either. I've arranged to collect them at Wembley. The Club have the use of the East Gate ticket office (actually on the north side) and will be open until kick-off.

I got to the Pompey shop at 4.00pm and all the ticket offices were closed. Does that mean all the tickets were sold out?
