That'll Dindane do for me!

That'll Dindane do for me!

According to The News, who have 'exclusively revealed' the fact, Aruna Dindane CAN play for us on Sunday!

The paper 'reckons' that the clause in his contract, which was preventing him from playing for us again, 'stands at 22 matches' and not the '20' is was meant to have...

So, that leaves 2 games for him to play for us then - semi final and final eh!

Until this becomes 'official' it is of course not true, although if it is the case it is the latest in a bizarre run of 'strange occurrences' involving the Ivory Coast international since his arrival, in a season riddled of strange, to put it mildly, events anyway...

As I have said before, as have others, Dindane is by far my 'favourite player' but another option is good by me and to be fair I guess 7 goals in 20 games is not that bad a record really is it?

Even if 3 of those did come in one game...

Great stuff. Was talking to the training ground staff today and apparently we look as though we will have a strong side available for Sunday. Only the injured are training today!

It's great but at the same time it's really really crap how useless the backroom boys are. Never mind, onwards and upwards

I don't think the club ever said he couldn't play - not on the OS anyway. If they knew he had one game they would always save him for the semi.

I didn't think you could surprise me anymore but you have. How can something like this happen?

Perhaps we cloned an extra one in a secret lab somewhere in a hush-hush MOD establishment. If so, can't we clone Jamie O Hara instead? Or Lionel Messi (call him Len Messiter from Wymering)

No Rug 7 from 20 is not good strikers get double figures; however beggars can't be choosers and Pompey are beggars. I don't believe with so many contract legal eagles involved that two games were miscounted that would be pure incompetence. I would suggest a deal has been done quietly behind the scenes, subsidized perhaps by Chan or perhapse though less likely the Lloyd fronted consortium.
