'If It's Football, It's Vital'

An added bonus!

The Pompey coffers will be boosted a little by the addition of £607,000 in prize money, which has now been awarded for our quarter final win over Birmingham.

It has been confirmed that our 'written request' to have these funds released to the club, which you have to do as a club in administration, has been approved by 'Professional Game Board' so we will now get this money.

We will also get 'at least' £450,000 on Sunday for our semi final with Spurs, although it will be £900,000 WHEN we win!

As a well known supermarket says, 'every little helps' - so this can go towards paying what we have to pay. This, along with Sunday's money, will give us a total between £1m and £1.5m to utilise.

Great. No bother paying wages this month then, or maybe the club will split it up and give it to 1,000 lucky fans as a thank you for all that we've been through this season.

Blimey Frippy, you are an optimist. I need the money to pay for the nervous breakdown I suffered watching the Pompey saga unfold this winter. Win on Sunday and I will be cured!!!

I Hope it will reduce the ever increasing debt!! But I doubt it somehow.

It will only go a small way towards the debts, but at least it helps I guess.

It's less than 1% of the debt owed, but 1.057mill will be a big chunk of any CVA agreement.

What excuse could they have had to say anything else? You earned the money so you should have it. Why the bloody problem? Don't they have anything better to waste their time on?
