Zigic 'I'll Leave in June' To Who?

Zigic has confirmed that he will be leaving his club in June. The player has admitted that he had held talks in January with a number of clubs including West Ham however he wanted to see out the remainder of the season at his current club.

Its true I was in Paris because of transfer talks, confirmed Zigic when asked about his transfer.

But, even if the talks were quiet open. Ill stay until June.

With it also being revealed that his contract runs out in 2007 (one more season) it is thought that the player will now only cost an estimated 5 million.

The local Portsmouth papers claimed that Zigic is third choice behind Henri Camera and Andy Johnson however Palace want 10 million for Andy! It is possible that Pompey will sign both Camera and Zigic for an estimated combined cost of 9 million.

It's ok for MM to say that he will try and sign him, but..... does the manager ACTUALLY want him?

Not sure, from milan's quote (http://www.portsmouth.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=19330) it doesn't look like Harry has even considerd him yet

Seems a bit silly signing people over the head of the manager doesn't it?

I totally agree re the manager, I know harry was away "talent scouting" so it's more than possible that Harry has only just got to look at the paperwork but still there is such thing as a mobile and the internet. Also are there not two other clubs interested,
