Routledge to Charlton?

With the news that D’Alessandro may not be a Pompey player next year we forgot about the other loaned players at Pompey and whether they would be at Pompey next year?

Vital Pompey can confirm that it is looking less and less likely that Korroman or Routledge will be playing at Fratton Park next year!

Korroman, a player rated by Harry Redknapp but has since returned to his club without receiving a contract offer from Portsmouth.

Is this a huge loss? I’m unsure but I personally would like to see Routledge at our club next year however this is also, looking very unlikely.

I live in Kent and I’ve heard from about four different people that Wayne Routledge has just bought a house here. They all recon that Wayne will be moving to Charlton as it is the closest team to his new house. (But without a manager this may be difficult)

It is too far for him to travel to Portsmouth every morning to Portsmouth as this drive would take about two hours. It is also a long drive to Tottenham being the other side of London. Could he be returning to Palace?

He may just be buying a house to do up and sell on to make some extra money to make up for the reduced wages Pompey are offering him?

In other news- Crystal Palace have turned down three offers, including an eight million pound offer from Bolton. Portsmouth had originally made an enquiry regarding the player, which Palace have apparently named a price of ten million pounds as an acceptable fee.

I don’t think anyone is willing to pay ten million pounds!

£10 million for Johnson!??! He isn't worth £5 million!

KOROMAN and Karadas both sent back. I'm not upset about that.

Instead of building we seem to be disassembling. If Routledge goes and DALLAS doesn't re-sign, I suppose our midfield will look very shaky again and we will once again turn our eyes to Amdy Faye. We have got to be seen as a side that means Business next season and not one that looks to be looking at another relegation struggle.

10m lol most over-rated player in the championship.

Indeed greaan giant, exactly why we wont sign him. Gray - Have you forgotten who our manager is? When has he EVER signed big players for big fees? He's one of the best managers there is if you want a relegation battle. Until he realises that you build from the back forwards, and get coaches that know how to coach defenders in the art of defending, we have no chance of finishing higher than 16th. IMHO
FEn_100
We finished 13th under the manager that I have forgotten in 2003/04 Fen.

he has a point! i have faith that he will get in some defenders! I was aware that koroman had one "r" just a typo.

Indeed gray we did. The following season, he managed a side that was relegated to. lol.

There is definate potential to finish 10th or better next season, playing with passion got Pompey something like 20 out of 27 when it mattered. Liverpool visited when it didn't matter anymore and it was 3:1, the Arsenal game when it did and it was a draw, no-one really cared because the job was done. Next season has to be like the last games before Liverpool. Pedro came out today and said that he was once again loving the game, you need that by 16 players, the rest will sort themselves out.

i agree but we need to sign some class players
