'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pompey competition update #31

Fantasy Football - 'Vital Pompey League'

There was no change in the fantasy.premierleague.com 'Vital Pompey League' after the latest games as The Pompey Chimes retained top spot for a 2nd round of games on 1880pts in total.

Although the pack are closing in with a surge from several within the top 10 as we reach the climax.

This is how top 3, of 82, currently stands:

1The Pompey Chimes1880
2portsm@1868
3Krap Nottarf1821

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately as the game was set up as a 'head-to-head' Fantasy Football game those not registered before the season kicked off cannot join... I have been told, having contacted the people that run the game, you cannot change this from 'head-to-head' to a 'classic version' once you have started!

This will explain why people have not been able to join since the season started - the only way I could amend things would be to create a new league and start fresh from October, but I would suspect people would not want this?

You cannot carry previous point over into a new league...

'Pompey Predictions League'

There was again no change in the Pompey predictions league after the Spurs game, so uspompeyfan retained top spot for an 18th game on 78pts in total.

This is how top 3, of over 50 at present, currently stands:

PLEASE NOTE: There are cash prizes for the top 3 in this game. Plus a 5 cash prize for each month's top points scorer - you have to be 'in it to win it' though!

Spurs also meant the end of the month, so prediction league manager of the month time! The 14pts secured by steaming in the Spurs game meant that they grabbed this at the last

Anyone can enter at anytime so just because you missed out on predicting for the last game with Spurs - or any others - it is not too late, simply joining for the next against Blackburn tomorrow.

I have made it even easier for you to get involved by putting the forum link for this next game below...
