All Fool's Day and no home game between 1972 and 2002. Me I was at three between 67 and 72.

I went to the Burnely game; magnificent atmosphere and we were on our way! The Fulham game was great and I got home to watch the usual vindictive, spitefull Chris Coleman post match interview about how his team were the better side and played the better football. Strangely I don't think he's worked since he left "the cottagers"; and they mostly are.

Yes, just the Burnley game for me. Remember listening to the Fulham match on the radio & sreaming as we continued our great escape.

Rug - Coleman had a few months at Real Sociedad too after a recommendation from John Toshack - welshman who had also managed the Spanish club.

2016-17 Champions Review: April

Pompey had a 6 point gap and were playing as good as they had all season, but with 7 games remaining, not even the most optimistic fan could have predicted how it would unfold.

2016-17 Champions Review: March

Every season has its highs and lows. The draw at home to Morecambe was a body blow for Pompey, but little did we know that the next home game against Crewe was to be our turning point.

Done and dusted - O'Brien joining Coventry

Academy graduate O'Brien, who went on to play for Barnet, Brentford and Dagenham following his release by Pompey, will leave Fratton Park again - he'll link up with Doyle at Coventry.
