'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It seems Quincy has left the building?

Still we await some 'official' news our end but is 'seems' that virtually everywhere else on t'internet believes that Quincy has indeed left Pompey...

So, I guess he has?

Spartak Moscow recently requested that his loan move be terminated early so they could sell him, something they are 'said' to have done for 4m with him joining Al Sadd.

He is also 'reportedly' picking up a mammoth 65,000, tax free, per week in Qatar!

FA cup glory or 65k per week, the scales tipped in the monies favour - not that I am having a pop at Quincy, who I guess has to look after his long-term career.

I get that we DO have to bring money in, yet - despite the fact he has not really impressed, all in all - I do not fully understand this one to be honest...

Accepting a 'reported' payment of 250,000 to end the loan early, having paid out - assuming we have even paid it! - a 'reported' 500,000 for his loan services in late January does not seem to make financial sense to me, but hey ho!

I know we would have to fund his wages between now and the end of the season - nowhere near 65k per week mind! - yet it still does not seem to make 'financial sense', then again we are also 'reported' to have paid Antti Niemi, a retired keeper of a year, some 500,000 - and I assume a payoff to leave - for 2 reserve games and a pre-season friendly, so, and as we know really, 'Pompey' and 'financial sense' do not really belong in the same sentence do they...

Then again some 'reports' have also said that the Russian's were covering Quincy's wages anyway?

Ahh well good luck to the guy, he is someone that I am sure we will all ALWAYS remember for 'cutting up' the Scummer in the 4-1 win in their backyard this season!

A lash in the Pan- in more ways than one...great goal against scum though

I understand him having to go, and for that money, wanting to go. In fact 250K for a player whose only here on loan is a bonus! The only thing that ticks me off is the fact that Andy Admin said no players would be leaving before the semi. It's not the fact they are leaving, its the fact we're being told lies and spin. Tell us the truth FFS!

Ouch. With the lack of quality in the squad & a lack of a squad as well, I'm quite miffed he has gone. Bring your boots Chix, you could be playing mate!!!

Quincy leaves the Scum memories. That's enough for me

Quincy had flashes of Lua Lua at times. He was a bright spark but mostly he was anonymous and ran with the ball behind him.

Great goal against scum, otherwise what did he do? Bit concerned about the lack of bodies in the squad though. Let's give the kids a chance.

Isn't a picture of him in al sadd and a article on there official site anough to say its confirmed?

Thanks Quincy for getting that great goal against the scummers, as has been said the guy is a bit like Lua Lua at times, often frustrating in trying too much skill and beating himself. Could have done with him at Wembley though for that exra bit of pace down the left side. Bet Boeteng will suddenly make it just in time though. to put himself in the shop window.

If Boateng comes back as perkey as he was in September then I am happy to ignore all the *****e he has said.
