Semi final - Ticket update

All the dates for tickets to be sold to season ticket holders etc. have now been and gone...

The Pompey Site has issued an 'update' with them saying that further ticket sales will commence from Tuesday.

Whilst I can appreciate that we do have the Easter weekend coming up - so tickets cannot be posted - it does surprise me a little that sales are not starting, well, pretty much right away as next Tuesday does not leave a lot of time for ticket to arrive to people. Nor does it leave them much time to plan travel, if needed.

Anyway full details, as issued, can be seen below...

Wembley Tickets Update

Remaining tickets for Pompey's FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday, April 11 will go on sale from Tuesday, April 6 to any supporters on the club's database who have been to at least one home game this season.

Tickets will be sold online here or by phoning 0844 847 1898 (option one). Lines open at 10am and close at 10pm. There will be no sales from the ticket office.

Adult tickets are priced at £30, £40, £50 and £60. Seats for under 17s and those aged over 60 cost £20, £30, £40 and £50.

There will be a fixed charge of £3 per ticket and £4.95 for registered post per delivery. The postage fee is necessary as the FA do not issue duplicate tickets.

Subject to availability, season ticket holders can purchase one further ticket from Wednesday, April 7.

Please note that tickets bought on April 7 will be delivered on Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10.

Official coach travel is being run by Lucketts Travel and is priced at £19 for adults and £15 for under 16s (must be accompanied by an adult).

Coach travel can be booked online here, by calling 0845 389 0644 or at the Lucketts Travel sales office in Broadcut, Wallington, Fareham, PO16 8TB.

Coaches will depart Fratton Park from 9am with coaches leaving once fully loaded. The last coach will leave at 10.30am.

tbh i would have 'hoped' all tickets would have been snapped up by season ticket holders, member etc. already - altho clearly they have not...
it, i have to admit, disappoints me that this has not happened but does not really surprise me - i think it would be criminal if we DID NOT manage to sell out our allocation tho!

ere ere Rug. This is an FA Cup semi final and it is at Wembley. Will we ever play there again?

I think that even if everyone had taken their allocation there would be seats left over for general sale, so wouldn't read too much into not beinf sold out yet. Also, think that season ticket holders/memebers/ three or more games can still get their allocation up until next Tuesday if they haven't already

I'm sure that if the FA get their way most teams will get to play there. I expect there will be a competiton just for those that haven't made it to the new Wembley yet.

Yes my tickets have arrived & I will taking my daughter for the experience. I am alone but a side of me isn't looking forward to it. The fear of getting badly stuffed outweighs anything positive about the day.

Oh great the same end. Sadly we won't have the same players on the pitch. Actually wonder whether we will fill the subs bench?

that would be ciminal wouldnt it matt!
surely the premier league and/or the FA have got to start acting alittle more 'rationally' - we, as i understand it, cannot even promote the kids to the bench as they are not 'technically' registered as pompey players, as we cannot register new players we cannot even promote some of the kids to the bench! it would bring shame on the game if we could not even field 7 subs in the semi, right?
