'So long as West Ham join is it does not matter who the other club being relegated is', not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts that I tend to agree with to be honest, but for two simple reasons - the two David's...
We are, albeit it not mathematically, relegated now - we have been since last summer really, and without a doubt since the 9pt penalty kicked-in, although to be honest I do not think we would have stayed up even had this not been handed to us.
So, we have Blackburn (h), Wigan (a), Villa (h), Bolton (a), Wolves (h) and Everton (a) left.
You look at this, and even given our state at the moment think '6 wins of the bounce is possible,' which technically - assuming the 3 clubs above us all lost or picked up minimal points - 'could' keep us up, so even though I confess in many ways I will be glad to see the back of the premier league that lingering doubt of survival, as minimal as it is, remains and you still want a 'great escape'...
Realistically though it is a case of 'stick a fork in us we're done!'
All that remains is, who will go with us?
In many ways it does not matter one bit, and being more concerned with Portsmouth Football Clubs future is the biggest worry. I have NOTHING against Burnley, Hull or West Ham as clubs personally but must admit that West Ham are a side I would like to see come with us...
Again, making it PERFECTLY CLEAR I have no issue with West Ham as a club, or their fans, it is merely David's Gold and Sullivan that have really wound me up in recent weeks - I would say they have probably would up a lot of fans, even their own...
They have spend more time talking to anyone and everyone about everyone else apart from West Ham, most of the time - if I were a West Ham fan I would be increasingly frustrated that they were talking too much about Pompey and Palace, and not enough about West Ham, in fact talking too much full stop!
So, for this reason, because of Gold and Sullivan, they are a club that if I had to pick to join us I would prefer - sorry West Ham fans, this is nothing against you.
As for the other side?
Again, I have nothing against either club but because of Dave Nugent, and his shoddy attitude towards Pompey and in particular us, the fans, who were the ONLY ones that supported him that is reason for them to go, then again Hull have the Scummer Iain Dowie in charge...

rob, i would not be so convinced by west ham 'going straight back up' - given their financial state they 'could' end up in a position as bad, if not worse than us...
