Sorry Jamie, it aint gonna happen!

Sorry Jamie, it aint gonna happen!

There were a few whispers in the papers this morning that Avram Grant was going to seek Spurs' permission for Jamie O'Hara to play AGAINST them in the FA cup semi final meeting next month.

These were brushed aside as nothing more than 'tabloid tripe' though...

Although Grant HAS now confirmed to sky sports news that he is trying to get his good friend Harry Redknapp to agree to such a move as he feels that O'Hara 'deserves' the chance to play in the game at Wembley as such chances in the FA cup do not come along that often - and in all honesty 'probably' will not come around for him again as his Spurs days are numbered and as hard working and talented as the guy is I am not sure he will ever really cut it with a 'top, top' team in all honesty.

I love the guy to bits though, and think he does deserve this chance, and would be over the moon if he agreed to stay next season in another loan move - although that IS NOT gonna happen either is it!

'Technically' O'Hara could play for us, if Spurs allow this, but I cannot for one minute see that they will - and lets face it WHY should they?

He would be a major problem for them, and I would think could make a difference for us - so for that simple reason alone I cannot see the risk being run. Just imagine the chaos it would cause if he popped up and scored the winner, even though Grant 'promised' he would not score against them...

At the end of the day you do not get if you do not ask, so there is no harm in this but it just aint gonna happen is it - so, sorry Jamie you will just have to wait for the final to come around in May to play for Pompey at Wembley!

PLAY UP POMPEY!

Sorry lads but it's a complete non-starter, anything can happen in a FA Cup semi-final, and the possible fall-out for all concerned could be damaging to both clubs and to Jamie's future career..

Pompey are OUT THERE.... what are they thinking??? "We can promise he wont score against them" what is that??? I'm laughing, I just can't believe it. It's like they're kids in a park, "Can't Pavlyuchenko play for us, its not fair!" The FA have spun their heads by conceeding player sales outside of the transfer window - something that should never have happened. Pompey now think any rule is up for grabs! Larger goal for Gomes to defend, perhaps?

The hypocrisy of my club and some of it's fans is breath taking. We are relegated because of the PL, the FA and Harry Redknapp- obj no sorry Twitchy - or can't mention his name; we are relegated for every reason other than it being pompeys fault. But then, but then these dame Pompey fans expect a favour from hhe very people that they are criticising. Stunning stupidity!
