Pompey competition update #30

Fantasy Football - 'Vital Pompey League'

There was a change in the fantasy.premierleague.com 'Vital Pompey League' after the latest games as The Pompey Chimes regained top spot on 1814pts in total.

This is how top 3, of 82, currently stands:

1The Pompey Chimes1814

3Pompey Stayin Up1745

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately as the game was set up as a 'head-to-head' Fantasy Football game those not registered before the season kicked off cannot join... I have been told, having contacted the people that run the game, you cannot change this from 'head-to-head' to a 'classic version' once you have started!

This will explain why people have not been able to join since the season started - the only way I could amend things would be to create a new league and start fresh from October, but I would suspect people would not want this?

You cannot carry previous point over into a new league...

'Pompey Predictions League'

There was no change in the Pompey predictions league yet again after the Chelski game, so uspompeyfan retained top spot for a 17th game on 76pts in total.

This is how top 3, of over 50 at present, currently stands:

PLEASE NOTE: There are cash prizes for the top 3 in this game. Plus a £5 cash prize for each month's top points scorer - you have to be 'in it to win it' though!

Anyone can enter at anytime so just because you missed out on predicting for the last game with Chelski - or any others - it is not too late, simply joining for the next against Spurs tomorrow.

I have made it even easier for you to get involved by putting the forum link for this next game below...

    So long Smithy?

Having made it clear the arrival from Ipswich of (now captain) Pitman meant a forward could leave Fratton Park, Smith is seen as the odd one out in four for Pompey boss Jackett.

    Gimme five

A seven minute hat trick wasn't bad going for Nicke Kabamba but in the end the Pompey forward ended up with FIVE in an 8-0 win over Wessex League side Newport Isle of Wight.
