Tosic loaned out...I am totally confused!

As season FULL of bizarre occurrences has taken another one this afternoon with The Pompey Site issuing a statement that Dusko Tosic, who it WOULD appear is still our player, has been loaned out...

The premier league rejected his registration back along with the club confirming last week, maybe the week before, that he had 'been released' as a result - yet today his registration is valid as long as he was loaned out, and outside the top-flight - so he has joined QPR until the summer.

The official statement is below...

PLAY UP POMPEY!

Tosic Joins QPR

Serbia international Dusko Tosic has joined QPR on loan from Pompey until the end of the season, subject to Football League approval.

After initially preventing Pompey from registering Tosic, the Premier League sanctioned the move as long as the defender was immediately loaned to a team outside the top-flight.

The former Werder Bremen left-back was an unused substitute in Pompey's 4-1 FA Cup fifth round win at Southampton in February.

Sold to QPR for next season? Or being made ready for next season? All confused and typically Pompey.

A win at Wimbledon made sure of a play-offs place. Technically we can finish in the top 3 but this would require an unlikely set of results from too many clubs wouldn't it?
