Fulham or Spurs? No surprises...

'Fulham over Spurs in the semi final please', not my vote, yours - although these findings from tracyc's poll are thoughts that I would have to say I agree with to be honest...

Of course NEITHER side would be easy in the semi although 'on paper' Fulham would be the obvious one for most to want, as this poll showed!

Part of me would love to play Spurs, and beat them, although the other part of me would hate to be beaten by them at Wembley - as I suspect we would, then again on our day why should we not beat them?

All in all though I would rather lose to Fulham, if we were to lose to anyone. That said we would be real outsiders against Spurs so the pressure would be off to a degree, whereas we would be more 'favoured' to get a result against Fulham so perhaps the pressure would grow?

For me Fulham have 'probably' had their best chance at beating Spurs in the original tie at Craven Cottage, then again with the FA cup anything is possible, and with them performing the most remarkable escape act against Juventus in Europe last week anything is possible at White Hart Lane tomorrow...

  • What the poll asked - Who would you rather face in the semi final?

  • How you voted - Fulham 79%
    Spurs 21%

Before we move on what are your thoughts on what the last poll concluded? You know what to do, thoughts below please guys...

    Come on Fulham!

spurs are on their way to wembley.. :-) would be a better game against us, come on admit it. although wouldn't O'hara be cup tied?
    yidinchina
Yeh yid, that's why we want Fulham to win tomorrow.
    Pompeyfcmad
I would want Fulham for one reason only and that would be because then HR would not be there and we would not waste our energy "acknowledging" him. Spurs aren't all that at the moment, they have a lot of injuries and poor old Harry is down to the bare bones!

i dunno though, be nice to get one over on harry at wembley but not only that defoe and pav are out, leaving crouch and eidur. having ohara play is the only reason ild want fulham. no, ild like spuds

There are a couple of reasons I prefer Fulham - (apart from O'Hara) one is that otherwise our semi-final is going to be all about Arry (and our ex-players) but mainly Arry. The other is that I accept we might not win, and that's Ok if we play Fulham, we'll still have a good day out. But against Arry's lot, it would be horrible, because we would take it so personally. I know beating them would be euphoric but we had that against the scummers already. So I'll have my radio on at FP tomorrow night, c'mon you cottagers!

I think also it would hurt more if we lost to spurs then Fulham. But lets hope we don't lose at all.

Good luck Pompey - with all the ***** you guys have had to deal with this year you deserve a break. BUT I think you know what is going to happen, don't you? I shall say no more!!!

you pomey lads are ******** unbeleivable! harry done wonders at your club, spurs bought kaboul back off you, which gave you much needed funds to keep the hounds at bay, and yet you come out with this drivel....anyways, roll on the semi's where i hope we dispatch you without mercy......cu5ts

lol and its utter tw@s like you that give spurs fans a bad name lillywhites, this is a bit of harmless fun and should be taken as such, like the other spurs supports that have already commented. oh and anyone can achieve with ridiculous amounts of money so don't try that one on, theres all ready complaints about his tactical unawareness on the spurs boards so STFU and sod off.

we dont have 'rediculous amounts of money', we've just spent what we do have sensibly, bought and sold etc... Harry Redknapp will be one of those people you will in future respect. Bit like Sheringham with us, when he went to Man United, we were *****ed off but after a while, when it cooled off apreciated what he'd done for our club and that you can't exactly blame someone for wanting to move on to the next level.
