'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Money, money, money - take our money...

Nope, I am not talking about various people that 'might' have taken money from us over the past few months - or whatever - I am talking about this 'fine' that the premier league are imposing on us...

Apparently we are being hit with a £1m fine from the premier league for a succession or rule breaks, with a spokesman saying: 'Portsmouth have been fined for a series of breaches of our rules and regulations during the course of this season.'

These breaches include late payments of wages - several times - and non-payment, at least on time, of transfer monies owed to other clubs.

Unlike other people owed money the premier league WILL NOT have to wait, they will simple take this from the latest TV money that is to be paid by them to the club - then again this will come in one hand and go out the other, but at least we know it 'should' go towards paying for things we SHOULD be paying!

Talk about kicking you when you are down, but hey ho what can you do...

One club that WILL NOT be taking our money is Lens as Aruna Dindane will not play for us again - if he does we activate the clause in his contract and would be obliged to pay £4m for him, as Avram said at the weekend we do not have £4 let alone £4m!

Although, for me, I would put Dindane nearer to the £4 than £4m anyway...

So who pays ADs wages now Rug? Does he just go back to Lens?

The PL are just like your bank, charging £25.00 to send a letter to say uour £1.00 overdrawn. Insult to injury. It leaves a nasty after taste. W4ankers.

Just another sweet day in the life of Pompey FC then?

Let's win the Championship next season and then refuse to go up!!!!

The Premier League has a lot to answer for with regards to Pompey this season and have made a mockery of rules and regulations. Maybe we should sue for not carrying out the appropriate rules regarding a Fit and Proper Test and hit them with a loss of revenue claim.

Isn't it strange that the Prem League are docking us £1m after our previous owners, who they sanctioned, were found out NOT to be "Fit and Proper" to run a football club....a test that THEY are responsible for !!!! If anybody should be getting fined its THEM !!! Both the FA & Prem Lge are not fit to run the game in this country and something needs to get sorted, a Ministerial Review (or something). It wouldn't surprise me a jot, if this isn't "football" trying to get more money out of us, before the HMRC get whatever they're going to get.....(maybe this is part of the deal that the Premier League have conjured up with the Administrator, in order to release other money early? ""Admin Andy, we can release TV & parachute money early, as long as you don't appeal against us fining you £1m"") The Pompey Cash Cow continues to feed the hierarchy of the game, rather than the poor old local business creditors who will have to wait for whatever the vultures leave.......a very underhand move, by a very dodgy outfit of unfit and unproper oiks.......Flabergasting and yet, the will probably get away with it!

These people at the Premier League are almost as incompetent as our previous owners and our beloved CEO Peter Storrie. They have faffed around all season without ever providing any guidance or help to our beleagured Club and then they come up with these pathetic reasons to take even money off us. The sad thing is everyone else knows they are useless except them. Are they all ex-politicians I wonder?

So the PL have "no option" but to fine us, obviously related to not playing AD, who has lost out at Wembley, and restricted Grant for some time now, on how we line up - this explains a lot, the PL said they would monitor team selection - and dont forget Williamson too. We will be down to the bare bones at Wemberly as the other forwards excepting the King, are only championship quality

Nice little present the Prem League can give themselves
