'Chancers' worry 'Balu'

Balram Chainrai is 'said' to have 'concerns' about the 'proposed' new owner Rob Lloyd - well more the fact that he is not putting money in but his 'investors' are, with a 'source' close to Chainrai quoted in The News as saying he felt he could be a 'chancer'...

This source says that he is worried for the fans: 'Balu is worried about the poor fans who have heard this sort of thing so many times.

'He hopes these aren't a bunch of chancers.'

A cynical view would be that he is more concerned about getting him money back - then again that would be unfair, wouldn't it? Or would it...

Quite what this group will offer remains to be seen, this source thinks that 'Balu' fears for more 'broken promises': 'Balu doesn't want to make a circus out of this, he just wants someone who is less talk, more action.

'He just wants someone who can put the money into the club and give the fans the financial backing they deserve.'

I know it is not a popular opinion but I still have my own reservations with Chainrai as it is so I am wary about what he says - although we DO have to be wary about what others say too.

Although at the same time is it not best for US, the fans, if Admin Andy and his team are able to just get on with what needs to be done?

We can only hope that ALL the documentation, proof of funding and who is involved etc. is in order and someone that REALLY can bring us what we need will come along.

In many ways Lloyd has gone about things in the wrong way, talking to 'some fans' before did Admin Andy, apparently, probably was not the best of ways to have gone - as said lets just let the administrators do their job...

For me though it is still important that we have a FULL clean break from the past, so lets just hope that any new investment that does come along will bring this - and admin Andy is 'confident' that we WILL come out of administration in 6-8-weeks!

Let the Quay's Mark M sit with Lloyd; we need to see who the real money is.
