Pompey competition update #27

Fantasy Football - 'Vital Pompey League'

There was again no change in the fantasy.premierleague.com 'Vital Pompey League' after the latest games as The Pompey Chimes retained top spot for a 5th game on 1649pts in total.

This is how top 3, of 82, currently stands:

1The Pompey Chimes1649

3Pompey Stayin Up1593

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately as the game was set up as a 'head-to-head' Fantasy Football game those not registered before the season kicked off cannot join... I have been told, having contacted the people that run the game, you cannot change this from 'head-to-head' to a 'classic version' once you have started!

This will explain why people have not been able to join since the season started - the only way I could amend things would be to create a new league and start fresh from October, but I would suspect people would not want this?

You cannot carry previous point over into a new league...

PLEASE NOTE: There are cash prizes for the top 3 in this game. Plus a £5 cash prize for each month's top points scorer - you have to be 'in it to win it' though!

Anyone can enter at anytime so just because you missed out on predicting for the last game with Birmingham - or any others - it is not too late, simply joining for the next against Liverpool tonight.

I have made it even easier for you to get involved by putting the forum link for this next game below...

Pompey Predictions League - update #2

The Pompey Predictions League is part of this site now isn't it. Would it be the same without? This continued with a defeat at Oxford with a visit from Walsall next.

    The Walsall Low Down

Walsall's away record makes good reading for Pompey, who need to pick themselves up after last Saturday's defeat at Oxford.

    Playing to Lowe's strengths

Lowe looked good when he came on against Rochdale but his sending off resulted in a ban - this suspension didn't apply to the Checkatrade Trophy when he scored two against Fulham.
