Semi final - ticket info

Those all-important FA cup semi final ticket details have been released.

Below is the info, as issued on The Pompey Site...

Wembley Ticket Information

Pompey have been allocated 32,000 tickets for their FA Cup semi-final against either Tottenham or Fulham at Wembley on Sunday, April 11, kick-off 4pm.

Tickets will be sold online here or by phoning 0844 847 1898 (option one). Tickets will be sold over a seven-day period starting from Wednesday, March 24.

The club will begin by selling tickets to season ticket holders stand by stand (see timetable below).

Every season ticket holder will be eligible for two tickets.

Pompey Blue members will be guaranteed one ticket.

Supporter groups will be allocated 800 tickets and will supply details of their members that qualify.

Additionally, every supporter on the club's database who has been to three or more matches at Fratton Park this season - up to and including the FA Cup quarter-final against Birmingham on Saturday, March 6 - can also purchase one ticket. They will be notified of their eligibility and their relevant client ID number - which is required for booking - by post or email.

Any remaining tickets will go on general sale to supporters on the club's database at a date to be announced.

Adult tickets are priced at £30, £40, £50 and £60. Seats for under 17s and those aged over 60 cost £20, £30, £40 and £50.

Timetable for ticket sales:
Wednesday, March 24: South stand upper season ticket holders
Thursday, March 25: North stand upper season ticket holders
Friday, March 26: Jobsite Stand (Fratton end) season ticket holders
Saturday, March 27: North stand lower/south stand lower season ticket holders
Monday, March 29: Pompey Blue members
Tuesday, March 30: Supporters who have purchased tickets for three or more home games during the 2009/10 season.

If season ticket holders are unable to purchase tickets on their allocated date they will be able to purchase tickets on a following day.

The same ratio of tickets from each price band will be sold on each day to allow supporters from all sections of Fratton Park to have the widest choice of seats available.

There will be 200 lines dedicated to Pompey, with a phased purchasing system ensuring waiting time is kept to a minimum for fans.

There will be a fixed charge of £3 per ticket and £4.95 for registered post per delivery. The postage fee is necessary as the FA do not issue duplicate tickets.

A total of 100 pairs of wheelchair tickets and 50 pairs of visually impaired/ambulant tickets will also be made available. These tickets cost £30, with a carer going free.

These will be handled by Pompey's ticket office. Only postal applications will be accepted, with proof of disability for non-season ticket holders. Please send applications to: Allison McNeil, Disabled Liaison Officer, Portsmouth Football Club Ticket Office, Rodney Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO4 8SX.

Official coach travel is being run by Lucketts Travel and is priced at £19 for adults and £15 for under 16s (must be accompanied by an adult).

Coach travel can be booked online here, by calling 0845 389 0644 or at the Lucketts Travel sales office in Broadcut, Wallington, Fareham, PO16 8TB.

Coaches will depart Fratton Park from 9am with coaches leaving once fully loaded. The last coach will leave at 10.30am.

FA Cup Tickets FAQs

How many tickets can I book in one go?
You can make as many group bookings as you like but each booking is limited to 10 people. So you can book 10 tickets in one booking and payment will be taken, and then you can book another 10, etc. You must have the relevant client ID numbers and surnames of the people you are booking for.

My friend and I sit together at Fratton Park - can we book seats together at Wembley?
A person booking can also purchase tickets for their friend at the same time, as long as they can provide their surname and client ID number.

Can I buy tickets on Sunday, March 28?
The phone lines will be closed but season ticket holders can still buy online.

I'm a south stand lower/north stand lower season ticket holder who is going to the Tottenham away game on Saturday, March 27 - when can I book my Wembley ticket?
If you cannot buy your semi-final ticket on your allocated day then you are still able to purchase it on any following day (online only on Sunday, March 28).

What time of the day can I buy tickets?
The phone lines will open at 10am each day and close at 10pm. Please be careful when dialling and make sure to select 'option one' or you will come through to the main switchboard and be asked to redial. Online sales will also be available from 10am to 10pm, except on Saturday, March 27 when they will remain open until 10pm the following day.

Can I pay with an Electron card?
Unfortunately Electron cards will not be accepted.

Two tickets per season ticket holder? Wow! Strangely I had a feeling that might happen.
Two per season ticket holder - Great news for those who share a ticket.. but I wonder how long it is gonna be before my phone rings and I become everybodies favourite uncle !
Good news and hoping they have got it all sorted out better than last time.
So no word yet on which side of Wembley we've got this time then?
had NO ONE ask me for my 'spare' yet...
Good news on the two per sth and especially the fact that the prices have not been hiked as the Quay had rumoured.
why couldn't the semi finals be the following weekend? I'm going to be coming home from france that day...
The thing that really grates me is the extra charge of £3 per ticket because we are going thro ticket master, this equates to nearly £100k, how can ticketmaster justify that. Then there's the £4.95 for registered post, it cost me £1.60 to send a A5 envelope the other day by registered post!!! Sorry about the rant, but it does annoy me
Well I am more than happy that the prices are at a lower price. Means I will be able to go! YAY!
Means my Dad is going, 3 generations of us together, can't wait now!
Is there any way to know which parts of the ground are how much - or do people remember from before? Obviously the third tier is the cheapest. although we were there for the final and it was fine, its true that there's no bad seats at Wembley.
Dear Uncle Chix…..You know I've always had a soft spot for you...
I hope the chaos of 2 years ago won't be repeated. So having had a season ticket for the last 20 years, I will hope to take my 13 year old daughter.
Any spares would be gratefully received!! :-D
Looks like I'll have to be quick on the General Sale tickets, typical that my Dad chooses this season to not re-instate his season ticket.
question when do they go on general sale. my boss wants some tickets
well if they get as as far a 30th march and have not sold out then i guess the day after that - doubt they will make general sale, surely not...
right, i have found out the following, which is probably worth noting...
As long as the person booking has the client id and surname of the persons they are booking for, they can assign and pay for those seats at the same time. This can be done via the phone or on e-tickets. They have 20-30 mins to book.
Know it's easy to moan but I buy tickets for me and my grandson but we're only eligable to buy one semi ticket as they're always bought in my name. Oh well. Beer's cheaper down the pub
that is a pain i know, does your grandson have a client ID? if not i would make sure - altho it probably is not going to be that needed, bar wembley play-off finals, for sometime - that you get this sorted them each time issue it to THEIR client ID. you can create one by creating them an account on the eticket thing, then ensure you assign their ticket to their ID all the time.
alittle bit more info guys...

One further piece of info. You can group 10 tickets together in each consolidated booking, ie – you can book for yourself and four mates in one booking and they will take payment, you can then book for another 10 mates straight after and they will take a payment and so on. You can make as many group bookings as you like, each booking is limited to 10 people.
thepompeypaul - Have a word with Elaine Giles at the club. She sorted us out last time as I had bought all our tickets for that season and that meant my wife wasn't eligible although she went with me. Elaine sorted us out our tickets and sent them to us. It's worth a try, you have a very good case.
elaine is away until the end of the month i think on holiday...
Thanks for the info. I'll ask if she has a deputy!
sadly lyn was made redundant :-(
I can second about asking the ticket office, thepompeypaul, they, sorted us out with 2 final tickets even though they originally said just 1 - I had booked pairs of tickets on my client ID. If Elaine's not there, I'm sure someone will help. Good luck. My question is, whether someone who is a member AND season ticket holder can legitimately buy three tickets, ie use both entitlements, or if that might result in all the tickets being taken away.
with all that has gone on this season it would be great to see you in an FA Cup Final
Funnily enough Merlin, I think that is precisely what will happen.
Hey Ho and away we go. Today was my day to purchase tickets. After 5 telephone calls to both Ticket Master and PFC, I have still only been able to purchase half of my allocation cos my Season Ticket is "locked". A call to PFC assures me that it is now unlocked, but Ticket Master say No it isn't. This is the end of my allocation day and I now have to phone PFC tomorrow to get it sorted. Luckily, the wait on the phone is not very long. You have to listen to an ad (bloody cheek) which goes on what seems for ever and then after a couple of minutes, you call is dealt with. Not bad I suppose - and a massive improvement on the last do!
See you peeps at wembley :)))))
only 1 spurs
Season ticket 'locked' Gandor? How strange! We had something similar with our car insurance, we changed our car and although they sent us a certificate of insurance, they then said their computer had crashed and locked our policy and we weren't covered. We had to buy another policy somewhere else. Hope you get it sorted - I'm sure the ticket office will sort it out for you. My day is tomorrow, but going to do it online. Can't use work's phone and 08 type numbers arent included in my inclusive minutes, so online is easier.
Is it true we have the east stand again?
merlin: 'it would be great to see you in the FA cup final at Wembley' subtext: I'm a Chelsea fan and can't stand the prospect of losing to THFC again!!
Tony Rocky Horror
Yes Tracey, we HAVE got the East stand again. And my problem as been sortd now.
I did write to the club but had no reply. Just received my letter saying I'm entitled to a ticket. Down the pub for me then
Got my tickets this morning, really pleased with them, block 111 which is not quite right behind the goal but almost - and only 9 rows back! Those are £50 tickets, so not sure where the £60 ones would be.
Tony Rocky Horror if you want to pick a fight with Chelsea can you do it on your site or theirs please? But please note that Merlin's comment had been on there a long time before you lot knew you were through. Some of us didn't need a replay.
Got mine too .. 10 in a row.. Block 113 row 14 .. bring it on !
By the way, just so people are aware, I asked PFC if I can use both my season ticket entitlement as well as my membership and they said 'no'. They didn't say what would happen if I tried, but I'm not risking it.
tracy £60 tickets are on the side at the front. Your tickets sound exactly where I watched the Final - row 9 block 111 - great seats but you have to watch through the goal net.
We were near the front of the upper tier for the final. Great view from up there, will try for somewhere similar tomorrow.
anyone had problems booking on-line? I click on the link but all I get offered are home matches against Wolves etc, no sign of Semi tickets!!
paultsmouth - I believe it's 10am they go on sale, sit sight! I'm waiting too.
Got my tickets, block 524, row 24. Just on the south side. level with the penalty area.
Harry Redknapp: "Hermann Hreidarsson injuty has put a real dampener on things. He's one of the best lads and professionals I've ever come across and his looks a real serious injury. All the players said they heard his Achilles snap like a gunshot. I really feel for him." I watched the game and it looked innocuous but very, very painful, I feel sorry for Pompy anyway but surely they don't deserve all this. I just want to say get well soon to Hreidarsson from all the Spurs fans I spoke to today we are all wishing you the best, I know he used to manage him but when the opposition manager comes out with a comment like that above you know it has to be bad. P.S. If we weren't still in the Cup I would be cheering Pompy for the rest of it and I sincerely hope they make a quick return to the Premiership, they will be sorely missed.
P.S. From a Spurs fan.
Thanks stu, much appreciated.
Well if Arry wants to make things a bit better he can give O'Hara the nod to play in the semi. Nod feeling quite THAT bad about it, I bet.
nice one stu, thanks!
to be fair tracy we can see why o'hara cannot - and almost certainly will not - play for us against them really, right?
Interesting to hear that thepompeypaul has had his elligibility confimed already as I've written to the club about my 7 year old son who's been to 6 games this year but all tickets before end Jan were on my ID, meaning he only had 2 on his own ID since. They've told me they will review it at the end of this week and, if he qualifies, he will be allocated a ticket. What to sit on his own? The bloke, Malcolm, even confirmed that he could see the tickets on my ID but 'there's nothing I can do, we're too busy'. So now I have to tell him he can't go. P### up and brewery come to mind!
Sorry mate. You've got the wrong end of the stick. I got A ticket. Not two. I'm still waiting to hear whether I'll get the 2nd but as they're on sale tomorrow I shan't hold my breath
Rug, yes I can see why Arry said no, but it had to be said anyway. Bad luck Linvoy, I hope you get it sorted out.
The problem is Linvoy and others is that having made redundancies in the Ticket Office they now cannot cope with the rush that a semi final creates!
