Fingers crossed and best of luck

Fingers crossed and best of luck

Well today - I think it is today? - is the day that Admin Andy, and his colleagues, will announce who is, and who is not going to be losing their jobs.

There has been so much uncertainty surrounding the club for so many months now - although, not that I am saying this is a good thing at all as it is not, at least people will today find out if they will have a job to go back to next week, or perhaps indeed the rest of this week...

I know that many have been fearful for their jobs for sometime, and I am sure many of us actually know someone that is potentially faced with the chance of being made redundant - which is of course a horrible thing and something I am sure we will all be sorry about for them.

Whilst I, and others, have made it 'pretty clear' that some, mentioning no names, losing their jobs would not really worry us too much - many others, the more less 'high profile' and dare I say it 'less glamorous' roles that could be lost for people are.

Today is going to be another miserable day in the history of Portsmouth Football Club so all we can do is keep our fingers crossed that not too many cutbacks are made - although clearly there will be plenty of them as the club need to stop the haemorrhaging that has been going on for so long - and wish those that will have to move on all the best for the future and wish them well in finding something else soon.

Our thoughts are going to be with the staff of PFC today...

Another miserable day indeed. Very sad that it has to come to this and good luck to all the staff. Those of you that do have to leave, all best wishes for the future.

I too have been made redundant after long service and at Christmas!! So I feel for those who face the chop today. They are paying for the misdeeds of others and as yet we don't know who.

Good luck for the future to them all/

Press Conference at 5 according to snooze Other rummours is that Storrie and Robins are to keep their jobs If that sthe case it stinks Their wages would pay for at least 15 people to keep their jobs, people who are probably struggling with morgages etc

Sspeaking as someone who survived a "cull", it won't be any fun for the ones left either. Although, I suppose they DO have jobs.

What do we hope for from the rest of the season?

There seems to be a lot of unhappiness around, despite a pretty decent season in my opinion. Well, certainly our best season in a long while.

Debut delight...kind of!

It wasn't a result, and in many ways a performance, for Sheff United loanee Freeman to remember too fondly as he didn't really have a great game against Orient? Then again who did!

Tubbs has left the building

Tubbs has finally left Pompey; perhaps his destination is something of a surprise then again there had been some 'rumours' recently of an Eastleigh interest.
