'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tosic departure confirmed/Yebda doubt

It has been rumbling on in the background for sometime now but we now know that Dusko Tosic has left the club.

Despite a transfer embargo being lifted the Serbian international was not allowed to have his registration granted by the premier league - so, with him unable to play it has been felt it best to let him move on and he leaves without even pulling on the blue shirt, not even in the ressies...

To be honest, given our financial plight in many ways you can see why we were not given the permission to register him - although at the same time you cannot help but think WHY was our embargo lifted anyway, what was the point?

That said, had it not been we would not have been able to extend the loan of Jamie O'Hara, so, as they say 'every cloud' and all that...

We now know that ALL loanees WILL be staying with Pompey until the end of the season, although one of them - Hassan Yebda - looks as though he 'might' have played his last game for us anyway?

He is going to see a specialist to find out the full extend of his knee injury, although the early fears are that he might not play again this season and this 'could' also mean he misses the world cup...

I am glad I never spent the time adding Dusic to the squad then!! Good luck mate not you fault. Be a shame for Yebda if he misses World Cup!

Hassing we win the match against HMRC; were we ever going to sign him whilst going into Administration? Don't think so. I truly hope Yebda isn't doing a Boetang- rumoured to have gone AWOL
