Grant hit with FA fine

I think that Avram Grant marching onto the pitch to confront 'referee' Kevin Friend - not a very fitting name really! - during the recent Sunderland game has been one of the highlights of our season, right?

That was the day that he really became 'one of us' as he snapped with everything that had been going on around him!

This saw him charged with 'improper conduct' - something that he has now admitted to and been charged with, a statement from the FA said: 'the regulatory commission took into account his admission of the charge and previous good disciplinary record.

'The suspended fine will be activated in the event of a similar breach of FA rules.'

His punishment is a 1,000 fine - no massage for a while then Avram! - a warning about 'future conduct' and a suspended fine of 4,000, which will come into action 'should' he be a naughty boy before the season is out.

And what punishment did the ref get I ask?

And with what the poor guy has been through lately I wouldn't be surprised if he feels his letting off steam was worth every penny!

Friends - I told Avram Grant in his facebook, about a week ago, how much love and support and apreciation, he gets from you, pompey fans, for all that he is doing for the club - and i just got a short answer from him and i thought that it would be just fair, if i'll let you know, he said - thank you and regards.

I was so proud of him when he steamed up to that ref. And I understand he hasn't paid much lately. I think we should have a whip-round for his fine! 20,000 v Brum = 5p each!
