'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Not a bad thing?

Essentially the message coming from so many is that they are staying away from Fratton Park, no so much purely down to the cost, more so as they are 'unsure where their money is going'...

With this thought in mind news from sky sports that as we are now in administration the club basically have to put forward a 'written request' to the Professional Game Board and give a 'satisfactory explanation' as to where this is going in order to get prize money generated from our cup game 'should' satisfy people, right?

Pompey cup cash needs approval - here.

Surely now, for what is an FA cup quarter final for goodness sake, we will see people that were 'unsure' whether or not to part with their money for the game with Birmingham actually part with it and go this weekend?

I do hope so!

Yep, I know the game is on the box but as previously said in this day and age 25 is not too bad, even less so for an FA cup quarter final! Couple that with thoughts that I suspect most will want to go to Wembley come April 10th/11th, if we make it to the semi final, so attendance here could all but assure you of a ticket?

As also said, we saw 250,000 'Pompey fans' turn up on the common the day after we won the cup in 2008, if we cannot find 10% of them to turn up now it is just criminal...

Only 800 tickets left accroding to OS

Agree Rug, The footy hour last night said that the Fratton End was sold out and only individual seats left elsewhere in the ground, so it would appear that the faithful have been persuaded. I just hope those turning up, are the noisy variety and get behind the lads PUP

If it is only 800 left then great. We need the place buzzing on Saturday, and with 18000 singing 'Avram Grants Blue and White Army' we'll have the bloke cart wheeling down the touch line. Can't wait now for Saturday as the atmosphere should be great, Burnley was superb in respect that there was only about a 1000 of us up there, so it could be a simlar atmosphere to the Milan game if everyone sings up.

I've started singing already .. Forget the troubles ...win this one and we are at Wem-ber-ley, Wem-ber-ley .. We're the famous Portsmouth City and we're going to Wem-ber-ley... Wem-ber-ley..

As an exile I get frustrated at not being able to get behind the lads in our hour of need. Therefore I would encourage all those attending on Saturday to get behind the lads a roar on to the semi's.

AsTAd far as I'm concerned the money should be sent to the Administrators Escrow account ( 3rd party account to manage payments) without delay, it is down to Admin Andy to decide what that money is spent on. The game can't come soon enough for me.

Be there & scream your hearts out. One game away from Wembley & let's be honest it could be a while before we go back again!!!

I'm one of those who won't be there Rug (arrive back Monday), but they've got to win so that I can see them at Wembley (if my members ticket can get me a seat!).

The West Norfolk branch are on their way tomorrow - can't wait. PUP.
NorfolknBlue
I assume for those like PFCBlue that can't make the game it will be on the box

Fill the ground lads and for the future sanity of all in Hampshire beat the Brummies. Won't hurt so much if we were beaten by the winners.
SFC Forever
Isn't great to have this quarter final to look forward to, and I look forward to a great atmosphere. And the big flag should be great fun as well!
tracyc
Three of going Saturday, really looking forward to a great atmosphere.

Wish I was there. I turned up on the Common that famous May day, however Sydney is a long way from Fratton. Still I am coming over early June, so may be another Ground Tour.
