Hart back in the saddle...again

The managerial merry-go-round has seen former Pompey manager Paul Hart step off once again.

Hart's 3rd job in some 4 or 5-months sees him replace the man that has ultimately, bar a 'caretaker spell' from Mick Harford, replace him at QPR with Neil Warnock taking over them and Hart moving in at Palace...

Many thought that Hart must have been a glutton for punishment having jumped out of the frying pan with us and into the fire by taking on the job at Loftus Road in the first place, and after some 5 games he was on his way!

Warnock left Palace for QPR today and Palace wasted little time in appointing Hart as manager until the end of the season - his challenge, to save Palace from relegation...

Best of luck Harty. Not being funny to the guy, who I have a lot of time for, but given his tactical awareness perhaps Palace fans might need luck too!

The interview of him on Sky. Well ... nice bloke and extremely genuine but.... Not that sharp to be honest. Good luck to him ,might turn out to be another Bob Paisley

Palace fans must be gutted - with all due respect to Harty

Good luck to him, he might be OK with not so much pressure on him.

Good luck to him!

I hope he does well. Maybe he's not the best of managers, but like AG he drew a short straw at Pompey.

Agree with sea-juicer, he kept us up, in a relegation battle you need honesty and integrity, Hart has buckets.

Glad he is back in a job. When I met him at Fratton after the Wigan game, he was very talkative and wished me a safe journey back to Australia. Hey we won 4-0, so I'd better get back there next season, the lucky mascot...
