Not too many wins on this day. Anyway, just 2 for me. Bournemouth away in '89 & Grimsby home in '95. No doubt we will playing them again soon!!!

Wolves 1967 only one for me!! Quite a game too. Portwood put Pompey 2-0 at half-time but table topping Wolves hit back to win late on. Peter Knowles kicked the ball out of the ground and John Milkins broke his arm. Game was on the MOTD and Cliff's goals were Pompey's first on the programme. as I told Cliff when I last met him.

when it all comes out n the wash in time, we will see the club has been used as a kind of "drugs Mule" in a Money laundering scam i suspect. I reckon Notts county are similar. Its like the old long purchase scam, where a crook sets up a company, buys a few items, pays on time , establishes a business relationship, then take increased produce on tick, then folds having sold the produce kept the money and paid none of the bills.. does that sound like Pompey?

Bolton's Wilkinson unlikely to play for Pompey?

Cookie isn't too hopeful of Wilkinson being fit for the play-offs against Plymouth, which means Pompey are probably unlikely to ever see the Bolton striker in a Blues shirt!
