Put up or shut up!

Put up or shut up!

Peter Storrie, whilst 'continuing' to remain 'tight lipped' on these mysterious South Africans - who 'confidentiality agreements' prevent him from disclosing who any of them are according to the Storrieteller - insists that 'talks' will continue and he will fight until the end to 'resurrect a deal' for them to take over.

Peter the message is clear and simple now mate, you and your South Africans EITHER show proof that you have ALL the money that is needed to sort out this God awful mess at Pompey or that is that, we go into administration and with that you almost certainly lose your job!

Talk ALL you want, all the hours of the day but if they CANNOT show this cast iron proof that they have this money that is that - talk is cheap get the banks to give indisputable evidence that the money that is needed is there or give it up...

Well, it has since been seen on The News that pistol Pete will be staying either way, well according to him as he has already been asked by an Administrator that will be appointed to 'stay to help stabilise the club he loves', oh but he will take a hefty pay cut...

Sick of the BS coming out of this guys mouth. Administration is best and with it Storrie leaving the club. A new broom and all that!
24/02/2010 11:23:00
This man now bores me. What a gimp. Storrie-teller needs to just do the dignified thing and quit before the fans call for his head (which, lets face it is close?)
24/02/2010 11:25:00
altho according to the man himself the ADMINISTRATOR, the one approached, has already asked him to 'carry on' and he will take a 'pay cut' to help 'stabilise' the club 'he loves' and bring in his 'vast contracts' to help 'rebuild the club' - thanks pete, what a superstar you are...
FFS there was me thinking administration might mean that he was finally shipped out!
24/02/2010 11:25:00
Trouble is now with only a day and a half to go, what buyer in their right mind would want to take on £70-80m (depending on what minute you look at the papers) debt when they can take time over the next few weeks and buy it for comparitivley little. Hopefully when any new owner comes in they will clear out all the muppets that have ruined this great club of ours and put people in who know how to run a large business. There are no doubdt some very good people at the Club and unfortunately they will be branded with the same iron, but something has seriously gone wrong within the management structure and that must be addressed with new owners in place. I was still under the dilusion that we would still survive in the PL but if we lose the 9 points then I guess fizzy pop league it is, but all being well we can rebuild with a team of youngsters and whoever will stay with us and get back to what the club is all about , 'the football' and 'us the fans'
24/02/2010 11:27:00
A new broom it might be, but Storrie's still got his hands super glued to it!!!
24/02/2010 11:28:00
These stories of a possible 20 point penalty next season would mean certain League 1 football.
24/02/2010 11:30:00
matt until this 20pt penalty came into play they are NOTHING more than stories, lets keep that in mind and lets not think - not that we can 'ignore them' - too much about what MIGHT happen, lets think about will IS happening at this point. thinking more about the absolute worse happening as a result of admin will push people over the edge, then again living on, even if it means league one or worse at least means we live on, i know i will still be there as i am sure you will too.
24/02/2010 11:33:00
I must of missed this somewhere, how on earth is it 20 points? My understanding is that if we were more than 9 points from safety then the penalty would transfer over to the start of the next. I know Bournemouth got hit with another 7 points for something when they were in trouble, but even if that was the same that then surely it would only be a maximum of 16 points?
24/02/2010 11:36:00
To be honest, the 2 people making most noise are the 2 people who put us in this possition, and the 2 people who could put their money where their motuhs are. Yes Storrie and Redknapp, the real life version of Arthur Daley and his Minder, or Steptoe and Son, or Del boy and Boycee.... I am fed up of hearing their names and comments. Bored Now!
24/02/2010 11:36:00
Someone told me on Sunday that Storrie and Redknapp are putting a bid togther. Don't tel me it is with the South Africans Peter keeps on talking about?
