'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Put up or shut up!

Peter Storrie, whilst 'continuing' to remain 'tight lipped' on these mysterious South Africans - who 'confidentiality agreements' prevent him from disclosing who any of them are according to the Storrieteller - insists that 'talks' will continue and he will fight until the end to 'resurrect a deal' for them to take over.

Peter the message is clear and simple now mate, you and your South Africans EITHER show proof that you have ALL the money that is needed to sort out this God awful mess at Pompey or that is that, we go into administration and with that you almost certainly lose your job!

Talk ALL you want, all the hours of the day but if they CANNOT show this cast iron proof that they have this money that is that - talk is cheap get the banks to give indisputable evidence that the money that is needed is there or give it up...

UPDATE

Well, it has since been seen on The News that pistol Pete will be staying either way, well according to him as he has already been asked by an Administrator that will be appointed to 'stay to help stabilise the club he loves', oh but he will take a hefty pay cut...

Sick of the BS coming out of this guys mouth. Administration is best and with it Storrie leaving the club. A new broom and all that!
bluedr
This man now bores me. What a gimp. Storrie-teller needs to just do the dignified thing and quit before the fans call for his head (which, lets face it is close?)
PFCGino
altho according to the man himself the ADMINISTRATOR, the one approached, has already asked him to 'carry on' and he will take a 'pay cut' to help 'stabilise' the club 'he loves' and bring in his 'vast contracts' to help 'rebuild the club' - thanks pete, what a superstar you are...
FFS there was me thinking administration might mean that he was finally shipped out!
pompeyrug
Trouble is now with only a day and a half to go, what buyer in their right mind would want to take on £70-80m (depending on what minute you look at the papers) debt when they can take time over the next few weeks and buy it for comparitivley little. Hopefully when any new owner comes in they will clear out all the muppets that have ruined this great club of ours and put people in who know how to run a large business. There are no doubdt some very good people at the Club and unfortunately they will be branded with the same iron, but something has seriously gone wrong within the management structure and that must be addressed with new owners in place. I was still under the dilusion that we would still survive in the PL but if we lose the 9 points then I guess fizzy pop league it is, but all being well we can rebuild with a team of youngsters and whoever will stay with us and get back to what the club is all about , 'the football' and 'us the fans'
blarmy
A new broom it might be, but Storrie's still got his hands super glued to it!!!
pentonpompey
These stories of a possible 20 point penalty next season would mean certain League 1 football.
storagematt
matt until this 20pt penalty came into play they are NOTHING more than stories, lets keep that in mind and lets not think - not that we can 'ignore them' - too much about what MIGHT happen, lets think about will IS happening at this point. thinking more about the absolute worse happening as a result of admin will push people over the edge, then again living on, even if it means league one or worse at least means we live on, i know i will still be there as i am sure you will too.
pompeyrug
I must of missed this somewhere, how on earth is it 20 points? My understanding is that if we were more than 9 points from safety then the penalty would transfer over to the start of the next. I know Bournemouth got hit with another 7 points for something when they were in trouble, but even if that was the same that then surely it would only be a maximum of 16 points?
blarmy
To be honest, the 2 people making most noise are the 2 people who put us in this possition, and the 2 people who could put their money where their motuhs are. Yes Storrie and Redknapp, the real life version of Arthur Daley and his Minder, or Steptoe and Son, or Del boy and Boycee.... I am fed up of hearing their names and comments. Bored Now!
Midge
Someone told me on Sunday that Storrie and Redknapp are putting a bid togther. Don't tel me it is with the South Africans Peter keeps on talking about?
Gandor1
Don't worry too much about PS, remember his case comes up next month!
eastneydave
Re: Storrie, Redknapp etc. isn't there an old saying about 'the empty vessel making most noise' or words to that effect?
rugsmum
Blarmy If we go into Admin before mid march, we get hit with 9 pts this season, the club must then enter into a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) by the end of the season, if we fail to do this, it will result in a 15 pt penalty at the start of next season, there's a Q&A piece about it on The News website.
Pompeybecks
Storrie needs to be out now, he has no credibility left with anybody. Even Mudie is trying to back track on his previous support.
russellm
Why should we get a 20 point penalty, your 9 points is wiped out assuming you are not in admin at the start of next season. We are not the same example as Leeds. I think this is a false story; as opposed to our perenial falsehood storrie
russellm
...and administration only DELAYS the hearing on the winding up order. The more I think about it, the more I blame Storrie I'm afraid.
ninjatim
Storrie might love the Club , however, it doesn't love him!! He has got to be the thickest bloke on the Planet, he's got us to where we are, along with Sasha & The twitch, and he still hasn't resigned. It really is quite unbelievable how much gaul this bloke has. There's not much good that has happened at FP for a while, wouldn't it be great to see the back of him. When he does eventually go, and surely he must, that will take us to a different level.
Mike1954
Why expect them to buy us now. We'll be cheaper next week, Wasting cash now means they aren't "fit & proper" just dim. Also if you don't like Storrie fair enough but at least he's trying to get a buyer. I've said it before - go do better than him then. Simples
thepompeypaul
Erect a twelve metre bronze statue of Peter Storrie, the great man at the main enterance to the ground. That will give you something to throw ***** at.
TergeHauge
More good news form the english press..we might as well give up any hope now, we are still "the Walkin-Dead"...BC get his dough, no one buys us we die www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/portsmouth/7309718/Portsmouth-owner-Balram-Chainrai-first-in-line-for-17m-repayment-as-secured-creditor.html?

This is not original and was posted on the new site by someone named “Old Pompey Blue” but I wanted to share it I'm a potential investor talking to the Administrator looking for answers: Do we get the freehold of Fratton Park? Admin: No, it is secured against loans by Mr Chainrai, but the team still get to play there for a mere £1million per season, payable to some account in the British Virgin Islands. Do we get the revenue from selling club merchandise? Admin: No, it has already been licensed to a third party for three years. We're not sure who is receiving it, but rest assured we'll check. Do we get the revenue from the Sky TV deal? Admin: No, that has been secured by Mr Chainrai. Do we get the payments from the PL for the next 2 seasons? Admin: No, they are also secured! Do we get to keep the players? Admin: No, we did a job lot with Mr Redknapp at Spurs. He said he was trying to help them find a decent home as he feels slightly responsibly for some reason. Do we get the revenue from the FA Cup run, especially should we get to Wembley? Admin: No, that has been secured already. Do we get to sit in the Directors box at Wembley should we get through to the Final? Admin: No, they have already been secured. Do we get the revenue from new season ticket sales? Admin: No, those have already been secured. Can you tell us exactly what we are getting for our investment in this football club? Admin: Well, let me see..... there is a very highly paid CEO that works tirelessly for the club and knows a lot about nothing and spins a hell of a storrie. He has kept the supporters believing in him for months. Oh yes, there is Big Kev the kit man. Told he fills multiple holes around the club! Then there is the tea lady, boy she makes a mean cuppa. There is a couple of cleaners and security staff, a mascot, an old sailor's uniform and plenty of unpaid bills. Investor: Do we get to get the replica of the FA Cup and other trophies? Admin: No, well, I don't think so. I was told that nice Mr Storrieteller has them kept safe somewhere. Investor: Thank you for your time, but as temptingThank you for your time, but as tempting as the offer is we think we'll pass. Admin: Oh, that is a surprise. Any real reason why? Investor: We thought we were buying a football club, not a shell of something that once was. Think we'll be better off investing in AFC Pompey.

graham, as said on another couple of thread...
i have no idea anymore but do know i am done, i am completely drained and think i have to basically adopt a 'i cannot influence or change anything anymore so have to hope that the administrator will be able to do a job to save us and find a new 'milan' that will do this'.
