Pompey competition update #25

Fantasy Football - 'Vital Pompey League'

There was no change in the fantasy.premierleague.com 'Vital Pompey League' after the latest game as The Pompey Chimes retained top spot for a 2nd game on 1471pts in total.

This is how top 3, of 82, currently stands:

1The Pompey Chimes1471

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately as the game was set up as a 'head-to-head' Fantasy Football game those not registered before the season kicked off cannot join... I have been told, having contacted the people that run the game, you cannot change this from 'head-to-head' to a 'classic version' once you have started!

This will explain why people have not been able to join since the season started - the only way I could amend things would be to create a new league and start fresh from October, but I would suspect people would not want this?

You cannot carry previous point over into a new league...

'Pompey Predictions League'

There was also no change in the Pompey predictions league after the Sunderland game, so uspompeyfan retained top spot for an 11th game on 68pts in total.

PLEASE NOTE: There are cash prizes for the top 3 in this game. Plus a £5 cash prize for each month's top points scorer - you have to be 'in it to win it' though!

Anyone can enter at anytime so just because you missed out on predicting for the last game with Sunderland - or any others - it is not too late, simply joining for the next against Stoke tomorrow.

I have made it even easier for you to get involved by putting the forum link for this next game below...

    Worthy of a new deal?

So, Danny Rose, as we know, isn't going to play again this season. As things stand this would mean he'll not pull on a Pompey shirt again as his contract expires in the summer.

    Sickening Rotherham winner

Losing on Saturday was bad enough, the fact this was an added time winner more so. The cherry on the cake was the fact Rotherham's goal came from ex-Pompey full back Joe Mattock.
