Vital competition - free Stoke tickets, ends today

Well, I think you know the score by now - the first 2 questions were put in the forum - here - on Tuesday, questions 3 and 4 will be found today.

You MUST get ALL these answers in by 7am tomorrow morning to have any chance of winning.

Here - below - is a reminder, just in case it is needed, just what it is all about...

==========

It is competition time again, with Vital Pompey offering up not 1 but 2 tickets to a lucky winner(s) for the game against Stoke this weekend.

1 ticket will be sat with eastneydave in the North Lower and the other sat in the Fratton End - so, although the winner of this competition could get 2 free tickets it MUST be stressed that they are not together...

Simple to enter, and fairy straightforward really - working on the same principle as last time.

You have to look out for 4 questions in the forum - here. There will be 2 today and 2 on Thursday - if you know the answers simply private message to Chix.

The member that gets the most correct answers wins - ALL answers MUST be with Chix by 7am on Friday morning as the winner will be revealed by Friday lunchtime!

In the event of a tie, should more than one member get the same number of correct answers, then a tiebreak decider will be needed - more on this if/when needed...

So, what you waiting for - get searching and win free tickets (should you win but only want 1 ticket then you can opt for letting the runner-up have the other, although the MAIN prize is the seat with eastneydave in the North Lower.)

STIPULATIONS

There are none, bar this simple one - the winner(s) must met us in The Rutland Arms in order to gain entrance into the game...

Oh, and 'should' you win you are free to either have the ticket(s) for yourself or recommend/pass them onto someone else, so long as they get used and they meet us where stipulated!

Pompeyrama doesn't have the info, can't find a Stoke equivalent, so it's looking like it will have to be a guess.

i would say that a bit of wikipedia and then some 'head to head' searching might help...

Rug - Pompeyrama was my first choice but they're useless as wellyit says - for a start it doesn't go back far enough - I've now had to call in a whole bunch of favours from people I don't even know, just to get me some numbers that I can't even guarantee are right!!! This better pay off because I'm skipping my real studying to do this....

I reckon I know the first and last dates for Stanley Matthews and one wasn't a league game (if I'm right) but as I don't need the tickets I can't be bothered to work out how many times he played at FP.

It would've been cheaper for my boss to have bought me the tickets rather than me spending his time researching Stanley Matthews at FP.

Same here wellyit - although just had a call from a friend who has a ticket going spare, so I will be going now, so now I don't have to number-crunch my way through this competition. Phew! Although, Rug and Chix and others, I may well see you in the Rutland before the game .

I've answered, but it's had to be guesses for no3 as there were conflicting answers on Vital, never mind the rest of the net.

i 'guessed' in many ways the matthews one - did a bit of looking into his career, then a head to head between stoke/blackpool and pompey during his time with either club, knowing how many games he payed in each season i had a 'rough' idea, so just guessed. i 'think' i have the first and last right tho...
remember you MUST have answers with chixy by 7am, maybe this can be extended until around 8am but a winner WILL be revealed by lunchtime, right chixy?
