DA Latest! 'Pompey Make Offer'

Vital Football told you yesterday that Pompey will make D’Alessandro a Pompey player and nothing has changed.

Last night however Portsmouth submitted an offer to the player’s agent of twenty five thousand pounds a week. D’Alessandro’s agent had already told Portsmouth that his client wanted thirty thousand pounds a week.

D’Alessandro will fly back to Argentina today to see his family. Although he is not expected to lower his wage demand before he leaves. (But you never know!)

As Vital Pompey have already confirmed Portsmouth will be willing to pay D’Alessandro thirty thousand pounds a week but are prepared to let him wait. Pompey apparently have until the 30th of June to do a deal with the player before other clubs can come in for him.

D’Alessandro wants to stay at Portsmouth and now every Pompey fan is hoping that he agrees to the slightly reduced terms before flying back. If he doesn’t I fully expect Portsmouth to pretend to loose interest before completing the deal and giving into the players high wage demand. (Lua Lua anyone?)

I don’t think he will lower his wage demands but we can only hope!

Another make believe article then Les. I thik this site has won the award for "Most blatant lies to get hits" award. Why don't you just post stuff like match reports that way we will not have to see any gibberish until July and the pre-season friendlies start

Sorry Les, but i think this is yet another one of those "My mates wifes best mates mates Aunt knows this guy who works for the club" type stories. We keep getting these snippets appear on here, atleast one a month. And they just wind everyone up. This is the sort of Crap that originates from the Boards, so leave it on the boards. Those of us which dont visit the boards, do so because this is the sort of rubbish written on there. So pleae... leave it on the boards. i.e the 30th june deadline as he's ours rumour, originated on another website, where some one wrote they had a personal letter from Storie... It's all rubbish. So please lets stick to fatcs, and figures, and fun... None of us need doom and gloom reports constantly fuelling other doom and gloom reports.

You can't theres not! Even Andy Johnson Milan admitted. I would like you to say sorry for your false inacurate comments! Unless you can name an article? Sheer Class mate more like Sheer Crap name one article proved wrong?

Sorry les, but it's sometimes damn difficult to understand your posts mate. Your grammar and spelling is horrendous.
15/05/2006 18:19:00
hes only got one spelling mistake there lol. You should get your player easily.

For what Les does on this site is amazing. What other one of you out there has the guts to do what he does, day in day out. This is one of the most popular sites in vital football and it is all down to the editor and all those that are attracted to his comments. I hope Les doesn't chuck it in because we would then be like 90% of the other sites 'dead boring'. Keep up the good work Les and I hope others will come in and support you.

zzzz ok sorry Les, but i agree with FEn_100. sometimes the grammar may give a negative feel to some articles. anyway, as i will bow out of contributions to this site now, as its obvious that any negative comments towards Les fuels bad name calling etc. So i bid you all farewell. And have a nice summer.

Match highlights - Pompey 0-1 Orient

Disappointing as it was, you take the rough with the smooth and cannot gloss over things when they aren't so good so here goes with the 1-0 defeat Pompey suffered against Orient.

Simply not good enough!

Call me a moaner, call me a groaner but if you think the performance against Orient was good enough then I think you're wearing blue tinted specs as that was poor from Pompey.
