POMPEY DELEGATION MEET PREMIER LEAGUE BOARD
Today five Portsmouth supporters from the SOS Pompey campaign and Pompey Supporters Trust met with Richard Scudamore and Mike Foster from the Premier League. We would like to thank them for their time.
The Premier League spoke of a number of specific measures it intends to take to ensure the effective regulation of all Premier League clubs including Portsmouth in the future, including the potential for the League to intervene and administer any club should it prove necessary.
We spoke very frankly about the issues including what we saw as past failings in the Fit and Proper Persons Test. We were very encouraged by the response and the willingness to learn lessons.
Mr Chainrai will face a detailed investigation into his ownership of Portsmouth including a face to face interview with the Premier League.
In addition the Premier League will consider our suggestion of a day to day onsite observer scrutinising the clubs operations.
We are very reassured that the situation at Portsmouth FC will continue to be a matter of the highest priority. Mr Chainrai will face unprecedented scrutiny before his ownership is ratified and any further failures to fulfil the ordinary obligations of a Premier League club will bring swift and immediate action.![]()

as for them 'making matters worse', how?
have we learned NOTHING from the past 2 'takovers?'
these guys come in giving it all that, and what have the brought us - bugger all. granted chinarai is saying the right things - altho he has now said he WILL NOT put anymore loans into the club - but it seems like we have been taken in hook line and whatever you call it. yep, i would hope he is for real and all that and it beats the alternative that we had but IF this guy really is for real, even on the short term, then he will have no problem pleasing the premier leagues 'fit and proper test' anyway, tighter or not, and to think that these 5 have 'made it tighter' is laughable...
so, these 5 guys are now the reason were *****ed then - it seems that there is always someone else to blame with pompey, and now many are saying that it is our own fans that are doing it, i honestly give up sometimes and think what is the *****ing point!
it is driving me mad, all i have ever wanted to do again is be able to get back to going to the football, enjoy it with good friends, family and mates and then talk about it but that seems to have become a complete side product, a sideshow to the massive freak show that is now portsmouth football club....
