Rocha - and others - to arrive

Chix revealed last night that a move for Ricardo Rocha was a possibility - here.

Well today, just a few minutes ago in fact, sky sports news 'confirmed' that talks to tie up a deal for the free agent, following his departure from Standard Liege, are taking place right now.

The reporter said that the Pompey are hopeful of agreeing terms and bringing him and OTHERS in as free agents.

There is a press conference with Avram Grant between now and 1pm, apparently - of course we know most the questions that he will be asked but I would hope that he can/will shed some more light on the Rocha situation and other matters...

again, one more from the Tottenham school of football. You guys are always connected with tottenham. Maybe Harry has his fingers in this deal too...
vangogo
He is a defender and we are DESPERATE for a defender. We need height in our side after losing Janice.

Hoping for quality over quantity.

Looking forward to this deal. He can't be worse than Mullins and Mokoena! The more players we have, the better we will be. PuP

Believe it when it happens, but why would he play for no pay!!

tis true .. We picked up a lead in the forums last night .. I wonder if they will reveal Razvan Cocis at the press conference as well ..
Chix
He looks a rugged sort of chap! The sort that built the Empire. Where's he from?
hammersmithblue
We need players to bulk up the squad but it feels slightly wrong paying money bringing in new faces when the backroom staff haven't even been paid.
yellowcheesemonkey
I'm praying so much that there's a cheeky loan deal that we don't know about in there.
stillthewhizz
Chix the Cocis rumour has been doing the rounds for sometime. It seems he's not vlad- I mean bad but it is just rumour. Positive if it's true though!
russellm
Where is he then?
moley2
I'll believe we have new players when I see it (well see it on the BBC or something).
