Sunderland in for James?

Asmir Begovic 'looks' as though he is staying with us now although David James, after making his Pompey return yesterday, 'might' be on his way...

A move to Stoke has stalled several times, but now 'sky sports sources' are saying that Sunderland 'could' make a late move for the keeper?

Time is running out though!

now I really wouldn't understand that - they already have two top keepers there...

Interesting though that we have turned down 3m for Begovic, maybe James is off and we want him here for our number one again, or there is a bigger offer on the table for him from another club. I agree though can't see Sunderland needing James

If we keep Bego & Jamo on recent performances the former should still be our No1. I still think theclub will off load jamo just to get rid of his salary. Seems a strange move this one though, hmmm Tamar to Tees everyday

Can't see Jamo going unless he can be guaranteed 1st Team Footy

Hah! I always "love" the number of "speechmarks" you use in your "articles" on transfer "rumours"! I think Gordon has been in and out of the Sunderland team this season (injured or otherwise, not sure), so they might be interested. But probably not.

Jamo to renegotiate contract to remove the Clause, as Begovic signs on for Stoke for 3.5m Bloody Azougy, i am still convinced he is behind this one, Kaboul i can live with but Asmir???? Seems a shame.

i think you will realise very soon that kaboul was the real loss in this window, we could have done without one of the keepers, altho i agree it shouldnt have been begs

Somehow, I would rather have kept Begovic as he is our future, whatever that may be. Brilliant as James has been, he is part of those glorious few seasons & I would be very surprised if he is still here next season, let's hope we are still here next season!!!
