Stoke offer for Begovic REJECTED!!!

Stoke offer for Begovic REJECTED!!!

Sky sports news is breaking news that Pompey have REJECTED a £3m offer from Stoke for Asmir Begovic!

Pompey are 'said' to be considering making a complaint over the conduct of Stoke, and his agent, over this matter as the club feel the player has been 'unfairly tapped up.'

The fact that we have rejected the £3m offer is 'interesting' to say the least!?

We know that we NEED money coming in, even if the owners are stripping us, so make of the decision to reject this what you will...

PLAY UP POMPEY!

Good on ya, if Ben Foster is worth more than £6m, Bego is worth more than £10m. Feck them chip-eating p**ckstains, they only want him because he's 6 foot 6 and could get into the box for long throws....

My opinion of stoke has dropped MASSIVLY this transfer window. Yes, they may have set limits on how much they are prepared to spend, or maximum wages. that's all well and good - very good actually. But if you can't afford someone, don't then go trying to take advantage of a club that's already in trouble!

Don't Stoke already have two reasonable keepers anyway? Dabs off of ours you loons!

You would think that we would accept any bid at the moment, perhaps there is more investment coming. I'm sure Storrie said in an interview with sky that he had been talking to Gaddafi's son and that Irish bloke. Not getting my hopes up, but I don't see why we'd turn down that bid? PUP!

maybe someone else (arsenal?) are intrested, and we think we'll get a better offer before the transfer window closes...

Maybe Storrie's had Azougy's phone sneakily forwarded to him and is telling people to pi$$ off when they're calling to buy our players ;-)

XD haha nice one stooH, and carpet there was the Arsenal link a few days ago for what £5 mil? so maybe thats the reason why, its more likely that new investment anyway, but we can always dream lol

Pompey aim remains the same

Doncaster, Carlisle & Plymouth are the teams to catch. Pompey are further adrift than we would want but the aim to finish top 3 remains the same. That's targeted in the coming weeks.
