Nugent back at Burnley

Nothing 'official', unsurprisingly from us, but sky sports has it as 'breaking news' that Dave Nugent has returned to Burnley on loan until the end of the season.

The official Burnley site also confirms this.

This has been an almost 'nailed on' move for weeks really, although I still DO NOT think that he will join them in the summer, as he will either need to drop his wage demands or Burnley up their 'wage cut off' past £15,000 - neither of which will be that likely for me...

Lets just hope that he does not go on a goalscoring spree now or we will be 'paying part of the wages', when we pay them, to a guy that 'might' help send us down!

not the best move in the world. hopefully we will have put one of those odd contracts on like lens did with dindane, that if he plays X number of games, they have to buy him.

This idiot is most unlikely to ever play for Pompey again. Am I bothered? Nope. Can we get money for him? Maybe 3 million in the summer, but definitely not the 6 we stupidly put down for him....crazy

One of Harry's big mistakes. And then we sing: "Were has all our money gone?".... We splashed them out like idiots. Burnely wanted him back because he scored 3 in 17 games. Oh what a record he has for a striker!!
