Southampton Tickets Sold Out

Tickets for Pompey's FA Cup fifth round clash with Southampton at St Mary's have sold out.

Seats went on sale to season ticket holders this morning and were snapped up within a few hours of the ticket office opening.

Some supporters were so desperate for a ticket that they camped out overnight in Anson Road.

Pompey will be backed by 4,000 fans for the match which kicks-off at 12.30pm on Saturday, February 13.

Those supporters who attended the third round replay at Coventry still have until 12 noon on Friday to send in their postal applications.

They need to include their ticket stubs, the name and address of the person who used the ticket and full payment (cheque made payable to 'Portsmouth Football Club' or credit/debit card details).

A separate name and address is required for each ticket stub. Please do not send multiple stubs under one name.

Seats cost £28 for adults, £23 for seniors (60+)/young people (17-21), £15 for juniors aged 12-16 and £10 for juniors under 12.

Applications should be sent to:

SFC Ticket Applications,
Portsmouth FC Ticket Office,
Rodney Road,

Official travel - which will drop supporters off directly at St Mary's - is being run by Lucketts Travel and costs £8.50 per person.

Coaches will depart from Fratton Park only. Passengers will be required to board coaches at 10.30am for a prompt 11am departure.

Subject to availability, free car parking will be offered at the main car park at Fratton Park.

Please note that Lucketts is the only coach travel officially endorsed by Portsmouth Football Club for this match.

Bookings can be made in person at the Lucketts office, online here or by calling 0845 389 0644.

Well Done to everyone who got a ticket.

I was very very lucky - sorry to everyone who didn't manage to get tickets. But if you get to the right pub, it should be a fab atmosphere! Not much consolation I know.

Bah!
Et_tu_Pompeii
I REALLY DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS ... Only a question of what pub now!
Chix
I had already decided to watch it in the local!! But hard luck to those who tried.

The club did make a dogs dinner of it though. The words p*s up and brewery come to mind. They had people queuing up at the same time as tickets were available on line! What did they think was going to happen?! It seems after a few minutes they realised people like me at home were snaffling up the tickets as fast as their download speeds would allow, and had to stop it so there were enough for everyone who was queuing. I could have predicted that. And they invited people to apply by post, like there were ever going to be any left for them? They should have made their minds up and picked one method only and stuck with it. And probably it should have been a postal ballot.
tracyc
I'm still wondering if i'm going to be seeing it in a pub, let alone actually getting there!

I didn't even bother applying. Quite pig sick with all that is going on. I've done 3 of the last 4 visits to scum, hate the place. I'll watch it somewhere providing the HRMC don't sink us!!!
storagematt
Well the scramble for tickets has started alright - but I'm with Matt on this one.
