Re the James contract extension - if the automatic extension does get triggered, it just means they can sell him in the summer rather than let him go for a freebie. Might not get a lot for him, but might get a bit, esp if he plays in the world cup. So it shouldn't prevent him for playing.

To be fair it's down to the player to choose to come here as well and who in their right mind would want to come here, I suspect that any clubs we were dealing with would of insisted on us paying the wages as I doubt we'd be paying loan fees. So Mr New Signing comes to talk to us and first question is "Who's paying my wages, you or my parent club?", "oh you is it, no thanks i'll stay where I am".
