Just when we are all keeping our eyes peeled for ticket information for our forthcoming sortee into Southampton the Official Pompey site returns the message

Service Unavailable

Rumours start to fly about why and very few can believe or accept that it is due to non-payment, but as reported on other fan sites It is true

A reliable source confirmed that Portsmouth F.C.s Official Site is unavailable due to non-payment.

The ever increasing list of people, companies and utilities that are (rumoured to be) not getting paid or are being trimmed down is becoming a little embarrassing

a Taxi firm

Coach company

electircicity for pitchside hoarding

the admin staff

the players

It's a sorry state of affairs at Fratton towers .. and I can not see an end to it .. Can you ?

The staff and player wages are due on Monday .. what chance have they got!

i can 100% assure everyone that this IS over a non-payment to the t'internet people - wages going through is doubtful and that 'possible' mass walkout could be on...
I really, honestly, truthfully, do not know whether to laugh or cry?
The cost to keep the site on the net is miniscule - what's going on?
Hate to say I told you so...I just can't see where they are going to get the wages from for this month. Nothing has changed since last month or the month before to instil any confidence that we can get out of this...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA that is literally the funniest thing ive ever seen in my entire life. we all know administration is coming around the corner now. we seriously cant believe were going to "get away with it".
OK.... The Premier League, have lifted an Embargo on Pompey despite us not paying more bills within Days???? Correct me if i am wrong, but Surely this means the Premier League Knows another takeover is in the offing? Else why the hell would they have said yes to the embargo?
Bl00dy pathetic. 112 years of history & a load of pointless, fit for fck all, camel breath morans are killing club.
Utterly depressing. I think it makes it worse that it seemed as though things were looking up aswell.
The heights to which the ineptitude of these new owners reaches is infinite. Remember what Marc (liar) Jacob said last month "the players and staff not being paid will not happen again" I ask you what is the point of having him as a spokesman if a) he just lies b) He actually doesn't have a clue what he is talking about c) He has never met his Boss, so he doesn't have any clear idea what to talk about on his behalf. I have to say I just can't fathom out how this bunch of total winkers expect to manage their way through these crisis's. They are so bad at basic management, that I truly believe that they are making things worse through their sheer incomptence. I am certain that Portsmouth University have got some students doing Business studies who with some work experience at Fratton Park could sort all this out. I am being serious.
Caterers arrived at the training ground on monday and did a proper "take away". So you can add CATERING to the list Chix. Might as well get rid of any PR related people at the park, as they are redundant!
How can they recruit a player yesterday in the knowledge that they can't even feed the cat? What a bloody joke. I've had enough now, bring on the administrators, get the clowns out and let's try and rebuild the club from scratch.
Portsmouth have also been banned from playing away games, and home midweek evening KOs. This being the offical coach having been repossesed, and not enough fuel in the tank for the return journey home. Evening KOs have been banned as they cannot afford to pay the electricity to power the floodlights... An offical spokesman was unavailable for comment, as the telephone line has been cut off
lol taxi for Kaboul to WHL
They cant afford a taxi?
apparently the taxi is part of the fee spurs are negotiating with you for him.
Have the Goldfish been repossessed yet? This lot couldn't get a refund for a dead Norwegian Blue Parrot
Taxi for the whole lot of 'em - most of them deserve a whole load better.
I dont want Kaboul back, I would only take him back if he was free
Well the only place we can't hear this verified is the place we need too...the bloody official site ha! It's like 2012, (but obviously not to the same scale) you know it's all coming and caving in like the earth, but have to sit and watch and wait for it too happen!
biggie169 he is free.....just a taxi fare!!
This is a complete nonsense. Administration is a best case scenario right now. It's a very real possibiliy that come the end of the season there won't be a Portsmouth Football Club
dazza0410... 2012 is nothing scale comapared with the disaster movie that is Pompey :) Pompey are becoming the 'Spinal Tap' of football
dazza0410 sky sports news confirm pompey and spurs in talks for kaboul
Looks like your keeper might be going there too................
Does our network of scouts only go as far as Harry's wife down in Sandbanks?? lol
Interesting read...guess the info has to come from other sights now!
Well Spurs is our reserve team after all. Maybe it'll be like Rushden and Irthlingborough Diamonds - we merge to become Portsmouth & Hotspur. PUP
Yeh n also according to Sky Sports as well as Kaboul, Yids are in talks over Begovic.
Sorry boys the name Tottenham Hotspur stays the same, might change the new grounds name to something like flatterned park though if you've got 100m to spare!!
Its a nightmare getting constantly ribbed at work from a bloody scummer and a spuds fan and theres nout i can do about it. All i need now is for scummers to beat us and spuds to buy all our remaining players and take Avram aswell as director of football.
The site's back up now.
I've seen that too PFCblue. How is it back up if we cant afford to pay for it?
Maybe the wages extends to the webmaster. Or the club wanted to throw the media red herrings.
Part of me thinks the same Lysimacus, the site was probably just down for maintenance.
You know, the Pompey board could switch from drinking stout to cider and the media will say it's courtesy of the "club alcohol budget" being downgraded. Or less blades of grass on the "pitch maintenance bill". Reduced decibels in the "wind blowing through the ground finances". No wonder I'm gonna leave OU to be a journo. The job is as easy as *****.
Can just hear it now, how twitchy brought Kaboul in and how he signed Begovic back in 2003 and through him and him alone has got them to where they are now. Oh how lucky we are twitchy, now fck off and leave our club alone.
Fair play to your fans for offering to pay the web team to put the site backup.
Unfortunately I do see and end to it - not a happy one either. Marc Jacob is a total ********
The word was C* U* N* T*
