Southampton v Pompey - unconfirmed ticket info

The News reports that 4,200 tickets will be available to Pompey for the FA cup game with The Scummer next month, Saturday 13th February with a 12.45pm kick-off - although this 'could' change to 12.30pm.

A spokesman is said to have said: 'the 500 fans who travelled to Coventry for the FA cup third round replay earlier this month will all be entitled to a ticket.'

The News also says that full details about when tickets are to go on sale will be announced by the club soon.

'the 500 fans who traveled to Coventry for the FA cup third round replay earlier this month will all be entitled to a ticket.'... Umm.. sounds about right (I think) .. but if they are distinguishing between supporters, the 150 who went to Carlisle in the League Cup should also get priority .. mind you most of them were at Coventry too I guess.. There's gonna be unfairness whichever way it falls .. oh how I crave a 'golden ticket' .. must eat more Wonka Bars..

it is going to be a mass scramble for tickets isnt it, WHY couldnt we have been drawn at home to have made it so much easier, then again i guess that would not have been any 'fairer' as such in some ways would it as i suspect there are many season ticket holders that have not done ANY league cup or fa cup games this season so far but would have got first dibs regardless...then again that is the bonus you have for having a season ticket?

So "ordinary season ticket holders" are second in the queue? If you went to Coventry, you'll go to them down the road. That leaves 3,700 tickets for (about) 10,000 STH's? 'Twill be a bit of a bun fight.

season ticket holders that went to previous cup games would then be ahead of other season ticket holders tho, surely?
i reckon we have lost 'around' 300 seats due to the segregation coming out of our lot!

Yep - that could happen. You're right, capacity (and thus our allocation) will be reduced by the segregation. I wonder if they'll move to "applications in person"? That'll bu**er me up. As Chix says, someone will lose out.

ken looks like a kid in a sweet shop, this was just after mokoena had scored the winner and he likes mokoena - Chix you MUST show him the dance next time you see him...

the news claims it is 'first come first served' for season ticket holders - it will be a blood bath!

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.
