Ban lifted tomorrow? O'Hara In/Nugent Out?

According to Peter Storrie, and ESPN Soccernet, Pompey 'SHOULD' have our transfer embargo lifted tomorrow?

Money owed to Udinese for Sulley Muntari is 'said' to have been the ONLY thing that was preventing this ban being lifted, although Storrie today - talking on 'Soccernet on Sunday,' their equivalent of 'Goals of Sunday' U guess - 'believes' that this will be lifted tomorrow after all the 'necessary documents' were sent to the premier league: 'I see no reason now why the Premier League shouldn't lift the embargo now.

'All the necessary documents have gone over to the Premier League over the weekend regarding the rescheduling of transfer monies owed to Udinese, so I see no reason why they should lift our embargo.

'We don't owe any UK clubs money, and all the foreign clubs have agreed payment schedules.'

The premier league are 'said' to have said that once the problems with clubs we owed money to were sorted, and money to Udinese for Muntari was the sticking point, we would have the ban lifted so 'if' this is the case - with us 'believed' to have agreed to regular payments - then that is that?

Although until this is the case I will not get carried away!

'Assuming' this does happen though I would expect Jamie O'Hara back, and 'possibly' in time for the West Ham game on Tuesday?

He is certainly one of those that Storrie says Avram Grant wants back: 'we need to lift the embargo urgently with just a week left of the transfer window, as we want to have Jamie O'Hara back on loan from Spurs and Avram has a couple of loan deals pending.'

There has been talk of other deals arranged, with free agents, and talk of several loan deals so 'if' this ban is lifted I would expect to see business over the next week before the window slams shut - although who GOES will tell us as much about things really...

One of those off will be going is Dave Nugent.

Nugent will certainly not be coming back from his loan with Burnley. Again according to Storrie, who says that he will either stay on loan with Burnley or they will buy him, with it 'claimed' that £3m is on the table?

'If' it is bite the hand off!

Atleast if there are deals already lined up it shouldn't take too long for them to go through. Lets just hope there isn't anything else which prevents the ban from being lifted. I still don't see though after this season (If we stay up) how the situaton is going to get any better. Has someone promised to invest if we do?

Still some 'if's'. So when it's offical, then we will all believe it. We need it lifted & we need to get O'Hara back.

I'd like to get excited about the prospect of the embargo being lifted but I'm afraid I'll believe it when I see it. Here's hoping!

I'm not of the OHara is the best thing since sliced bread club. Granted he runs around a lot but so did headless; that's Davis to the newbies, he has no dead ball skills yet insists on taking corners and free kicks and his passing is at best 50/50. can't fault his loyalty; he was absolutely pro Pompey until he was joining another club thenehe developed ambiguity. We have to accept him cos otherwise we are stuck with Hughes and Mokoena, even worse Brown. But still like spurs say he is a nearly man. So let's keep everything in perspective, OHara is ok but not our saviour. Wish Nugent well, let's hope we can recover half our losses

Can some one please take Storrie's lying face off this forum, everytime I see it I want to throw up! If, and it's a big IF, the embargo is lifted today, I for one won't thank Storrie. He's the main reason it was imposed. Did anyone see him outside Frogmore Rd, laughing at the protesters. Runt!!
