Only ome but what a one!! Arsenal 1971- they won the double but we so nearly put them out of the FA Cup. A great day and it was on MOTD.

And on coincidences the last Pompey scorer on this day was Luke Nightingale, I was having a pint with his father last night!

3 for me. The thrashing by Leeds but we did slaughter them 6-1 a few years later. The 1-0 win over Brtentford was awful. One of those games that cost us auto promotion that season. They were doomed & we could only muster a dodgy penalty to win. Had we scored 3 we would have gone up, well it would have helped. Funny how these things still annoy you. Chelsea away was a good point even though we were doomed for relegation. Too you young for the 'great' Arsenal cup game.

Wolves 1954, they were big matches. A Dickinson goal a rare treat, left foot, left hand side of the penalty area if my memory serves me correct. Reid goal, one of the last I feel. When did he become groundsman?
