Wilson out? Williamson out? Cowan-Hall back

A new name to enter the exodus thoughts is Marc Wilson?

According to The Express they 'claim' that Celtic are trying to take him on loan for the remainder of the season, although it is also said that we would 'prefer to sell' him for around £2.5m!

Even the players that I was almost 'banking', as much as you could, on staying seem to be attracting attention but even then these players are not exactly going to raise much and clubs only seem to want to loan them as opposed to buy...

On Thursday evening sky sports announced that we had 'accepted an offer' from Newcastle for Mike Williamson. A deal will be tied up today by all accounts.

The common theme among the media is that we have accepted £1m for the guy we signed for fees ranging between £2m and £3m less than 6-months ago, so this represents 'fantastic' business on our part!

Oh, and to make matters worse we also have to give a former club Wycombe a cut as a sell-on fee...

There was some 'good news' though, Paris Cowan Hall will not be leaving the club for good, well at least not yet as he is now back at Fratton.

Although he has only returned as he has contracted glandular fever, so will be out for the next 3-weeks or so anyway so even if we wanted to turn to him at this point we could not!

yeah well, i said it atthe time, MIke Williamson was not good enough, and that was based on the vital watford fans reaction...not bothered and glad to be shot. Even Paul Hart said he was rewcomended by Tommy Smith.. C'mon please. I suppose they are trying to scrape a few quid togethr by selling players who we can do without, rather than kaboul etc..thing is no body will pay what we want so we have to take what we can get,,with williamson, take what you can get...

Heres a thought. China Man owed £37m by Pompey, Pompey Valued at £30m. China Man next to put his hands up and want money back, ALL assetts in the club cant cover his demands, so he gets the entire club as assetts for him to do as he see's fit, so takes over after all, and Zihavi comes in and buys him out. Zihavi gets the club he wanted 12 months ago, (but Gaydamacs would not sell to HIM), China Man gets his money, Faraj gets let off the hook from a club he never wanted, Gaydamac stuffed or else HAS to sell surrounding land to Zihavai to recoup atleast some of his losses, and we all go marhing on to better pastures ... See there are still some tinted Happy Slapper glasses and I AM WEARING THEM lol... i know I know and then i woke up, but HEY it makes better reading than all that negative crap we have endured the past 3 months+ lol

It would make much better business to send him back to Watford with the Hornets prepared to waive any due payments - including their own sell-on clause (believed to be 20% of any fee received from Newcastle!).

Surprised to hear that Wycombe get a cut of the sell on - surely Watford would have to pay that!! Perhaps the Scummers will be queueing up for a cut as he play for them in the past too!

Surely his primary school are due a cut? if he hadn't put on a pair of Woolies football boots as a 5yr old, heck he wouldn't be playing for our reserves now would he?
