Spurs 'favourites' to sign Kaboul

A 'Pompey insider' has been 'busy' speaking to ESPN Soccernet today.

They 'claim' that Spurs are 'favourites' to re-sign Younes Kaboul: 'yes, we are working on a deal with Spurs, but yes it is pretty complex.

'Spurs look favourite to sign Kaboul but five clubs have shown interest, three from the Premier League, Spurs, Manchester City and Sunderland.'

It would be a bizarre deal, 'if' it came off as Spurs, who we still own money for Kaboul - £2m according to ESPN, although this valuation various with others - had a 'sell on fee clause' inserted into his contract, as seems to have been the case with just about every player we have bought and sold over the years...

So, Spurs would pay us for him, minus what we owe them I guess, but then get a cut of that transfer fee they pay anyway!

If spurs are involved then we will obviously get ripped off AGAIN !! Even without Mark Jacob being involved !!

When Spurs qualify for Europe, we can watch them and just see us 18 months before!

Not surprising...if HR thought Janice was good in the first place, nothing is gonna have changed his mind now.

It's all fcking mess & like a poor animal, it would be easier to be out of our misery rather than cling to hope which just hurts like fck.

Bloody Spurs!

Then can we have him back again in 10 years time for £125,000 when we're fighting for promotion out of League Two?

I don't care where Kaboul goes as long as we get the best possible deal .. and as Penton says somebody somewhere get paid

Thats great isn't it we end up paying them a sell on fee as well. We will undoubtedly get ripped off yet again, but if selling him gets us to the end of the season paying wages i nothing else, then so be it. That will mean Mokoena will take his place then based on what we saw against Coventry. Oh joy!

Why "bloody Spurs! McFad? This is a mess of our own making. Just get the money in and pay our creditors so we can get back to moaning about football.

I am passed caring now where any players goes...with liquidation every player and stick of furniture must go...listen folks we/you need to wake up …smell the coffee...The club is very nearly dead…dead!-sadly- the land the 6 (or is 7?) parcels of land is the key...the board are not interested in a football club, -Ali Mirage has not even been to Pompey. Gaydamak said it in his interview with truebluearmy.com web site interview The Council will not permit building on the site while the club exists or had a new stadium..therefore the answer is obvious to a cool calculating capitalist. Just look at history at what a human being is prepared to do for PROFIT…a footie club is small fare.. Ive said it before, and I hope I am wrong, realy, but I think weneed to start thinking about an Aldershot/AFC Wimbledon resurrection. ..the fan base is more than big enough believe me…I also remember the old 4th division days with great fondness, turning up at Halifax or Northampton with more fans than the home team, winning and often scoring a ship load of goals…. I’ve tried to relocate the Portsmouth fansonline interview with Sacha, to be able to list the address but it seems to be off line
